You can flip the butt flap around to hide the buttons.

 

If a Soundblaster is in the pipeline, it could come with different cassettes to complete the cassetticons. Could be an interesting business move.

 

I think it's a missed opportunity not making alt mode's buttons realistic with "Play" "Record" lettering, since it has faux buttons for bot mode already.

 

Had this been Keith, there would be real electronics that would allow this guy to play real tapes. That's why XTB's offerings will always be more superior to FT's and Takara's.

On an unrelated note I keep checking Terry's to see when they take my preorder since I only put the deposit down about a month ago haha I'm so excited for this Soundwave it looks beautiful.

I like MP-44, I really do, but I would like it much more if Takara got his act together before trying to tackle what is probably the most emblematic figure of the line after Spindrift 2.0.

Doing TT bashing because people only like FT is really annoying. Many people including myself enjoy both.

my concern is still about the scraping of AW's front body during transformation. Anyone please has come up with an idea on how to avoid this ? The issue was mentioned during Paik's livestream

 

Actually that was just my personal preference, Magic Square MP size is good, but there's something in it that I don't like so I don't consider it to be really a "MP" figure, but more of an upscaled legend. But if you like it then it's good!
I mean, if you want cartoon accuracy, MP-10 is not your prime, absolutely. But if you enjoy a good Optimus, that looks great, have a very fun transformation and is well built, then MP-10 is definitely something to have  

 

It's what Newage did with theirs. And as with that, it would be a cunning plan to stop me buying Ratbat. I want Ratbat, but I'm not going to buy some pointless other version of Soundwave I have no interest in just to get him. (Am I alone in this? I'd buy a separate Ratbat immediately.)

 

Anyway, Soundwave arrived yesterday, and he is gloriously G1!



FT Soundwave hasn't arrived yet, but this chap really did arrive yesterday. He is lovely.
