Well I just did a pretty aggressive flower cull - they were getting out of hand again - so maybe that will help.

 

Its been confirmed after doing a certain amount of villager homes in the DLC that not only do you unlock the option to change vilalger interiors on your main island, but also their exterior.

Got a favourite villager but their house inside and/or out doesn't go with them or your island?

Walls from happy home are diys on your main island. So if you want to use them at your house better start getting clay and wood.

In happy home you can change not only the bridges outside but the villagers clothers (doc is now dressed up like naruto!) and can change the sidekick monkeys clothes by clicking them.

The school you can set a teacher and replace any of the students and dress them in what outfit you want.

Also after you do a home later on the beach talk to that villager again and they give you the floor wallpaper you used for free.

 

One of the new items are cars! One is a huge truck. You can turn it red and the trailer turns red on top and white on bottom. You can use your own pattern on the trailer. Put the autobot logo on it and you have optimus prime! Also you can put the ghostbusters logo on one of the white cars and get ecto 1!

 

I just love that there are so many new islands to get goodies from and here I am still getting islands with oranges, weeds and mums.

 

Found out they finally added a Torii gate, now I just gotta get it to show up so I can purchase it.

There's now like a castle wall, gate and tower to purchase. Now being actually able to design a castle, which is great for my town.

Some other cool stuff is that there is a dormant volcano item which is 3x3 squares I think too.

 

Man whoever planted all them sugar canes on the boat tour island I just went to is gonna be PISSED!

 

That was what I kinda felt like when I went to go find Brewster.

I mined that island for everything it had.

Brewster's vacation spot was nothing but stumps. I'm thankful he still decided to open up shop.

 

Got a flea yesterday! Now just have to finish the art collection, which should be much easier with the new Co-op thing at Harv's island.

Speaking of which - from what I can tell the art offerings will stay till you buy it - they don't change overnight. Or maybe till the week changes, not sure. So anyway seems like it makes sense to just buy something every day even if it's fake or a duplicate to keep the stock rotating.

Is anyone getting mushroom recipes? Last year I only got three. This year I have been determined to get more, if not all if them, and have so far gotten ONE. Between the beach twice a day, HH beach, Kappa beach, MI beach, villagers and balloons, that is a LOT of opportunities to get recipes. Maybe all of the 2.0 recipes are interfering since the game seems to give them preference. For every other seasonal recipe set I’ve gotten them all in just a few days. Is the game this stingy for anyone else?

I finally got the rocket DIY from Celeste last night, and built my first robot. I just need 13 more gold nuggets then I'll have enough materials for the second robot.
