If the TT cassettes don't fit inside AW then that will be a serious strike against AW for me. (A logical move from a business point of view, though, since it forces one to buy the FT cassettes.)

My interest in the cassettes is minimal. Sure I want to have these characters and I have them from TT, but I'm not interested in getting them again. Especially since they left us without a clue about Buzzsaw -- likely in a future set of characters I'm even less interested in.

My plan was to keep using the TT cassettes, but if they don't fit...then that's another reason to consider if I'm keeping mine when he arrives and just stick with MP-13.

 

honestly sort of wish i hung onto my omegalock pre order not only would i have it in the next day or 2 , looking at ebay prices alreay could have made myself a good £50-£60 selling one of the 2 making what i paid with bombusbee even sweeter

Right. I can't believe no one has both AW and some TT cassettes and won't try them inside AW. All I know is that in that one video, he couldn't get Frenzy to fit. Maybe he didn't try hard enough, maybe Ratbat and the birds are like a mm smaller and they'll fit. Try it, guys! What are you afraid of?

 

Most people still don't have him. Those that do might have already sold TT.

And the constant asking will put off some of those who might be willing to help.

Give it a few days for him to start arriving.

I was hoping to see some deals out there on MP-13, but people selling theirs are apparently trying to completely cover the cost of AW in the sale.

 

It wasn’t a criticism of the toy, I was only pointing out the fact that the door isn’t actually smaller. But it’s refreshing to hear toon fans argue in favor of real-world accuracy.

 

Managed to grab someone’s dropped PO via BBTS. Now just need the tapes & im good .

also be selling my MISB MP-13 with those tapes as well . I’m not one for having multiple versions of the same character.

MMC legs are the wrong colours... 

 

The existing MP Shockwave is the correct scale though, and pretty toon accurate. This figure is out of scale, albeit marginally.

I love MP-52, so if they do a v2 Soundwave that's as good as that, I'd be interested.

I hate you   Not had the dispatch email yet and I paid up last week as soon as the balance went up.

Yeah, and they have a seam and the overall proportions of the figures are off (not to mention they're way too big). The RP one actually looks the best overall. Not perfect (those shoulders and the incorrect deco on the back annoy me), but a decent half way house between the other versions. Still think they're a rip off at like £30 per tape, but my OCD won't let me have just one...

Yeah, I'm okay with the RP sizes I think. I've been back and forth on MMC, but I'm seeing them work mix and match either.

Genuinely thinking about getting ko MP tapes for the two obvious missing ones though

 

Yeah, I'm keeping my MP-02 with all of the tapes, and I actually prefer the look of the Takara condors, so I'm gonna use those with three RP tapes and have the spare Laserbeak in Soundwave's chest or something.

 

You could be @marioxb's saviour! Get those MP tapes in AW's chest ASAP!

 

although not toon accurate, I think Purple Potato looks good in MP-29's place
