These guys literally look like they’ve stepped out of the movie. I guess there’s a huge benefit to only having to focus on nailing one mode.

But come on man, what the hell is that Soundwave alt-mode?

WJ alt mode is really what Siege alt mode should be imo.

Ratchet looks cool too, his alt mode looks like those moon vehicle with window upfront (or is it deep water vehicle?)

Kinda wish Shockwave was SS86 instead just to go with the Kingdom core dudes, but he's a neat little toy regardless. I don't think I'll personally get into collecting movie stuff at a second, smaller scale, but I'm cool with the occasional odd drop. And I'm sure a voyager(?) size one will happen soon enough.

I'm mostly just happy to get core in SS in general for the characters that don't make sense to make at deluxe or larger without multi-packing them. They might not have been popular enough to take up 3 whole slots, but I wonder if the Arcee triplets would have been executed a little better as 3 core releases instead of 1 deluxe?

Anyone else getting the vibe of the old legends Warpath from that Shockwave?

Odd that Ravage is missing his bottom jaw in his main pic. You can see it in the package shot

I think this reveal is actually because of PvP's review. Notice how they say "preorder information in December," I bet they weren't planning on revealing these guys till they could put preorders up next month, but after Wheeljack got leaked, they said shit we better get the others up before more get leaked

I was thinking the same thing. My new profile pic is in-excruciating-pain Ravage

Why are you even on this website then? Why go into Hasbro threads? If everything Hasbro does is screwed up....then don't pay attention to Hasbro stuff?

I regret to inform you that you're on crack. They're literally as close to screen accurate as a plastic toy this size can be

i feel he'd be more of a retool from the tfp shockwave, as they share more in terms of alt modes and robot modes, without partsforming as well!

Robot modes look fantastic! Alt modes definitely make some sacrifices, Wheeljack aside, but ultimately I'm displaying then in Robot mode anyway

Wow, these are fantastic-looking figures. I was kind of worried they'd cheapen out on some of them since they only appear for a few seconds, but they really went the extra mile here.

I freaking love Brawn's alternate mode. It's exactly what I want from a Cybertronian mode...it looks alien, but still has a strong discernable form. Not too Earth-like, but also not too overdone. It almost reminds me of something from a retro sci-fi painting. I don't really have any attachment to Brawn as a character, but I'll buy him just for the altmode.

Ratchet and Wheeljack also look great. A bit more straightforward, but still very nice-looking. They kind of remind me of the WFC games.

Shockwave is fine. He kind of looks like a simplified version of his DOTM vehicle. A big improvement over that, but still a bit generic to me. Ravage is also fine. I wish he was flatter (like a tape), but I'm sure he'll serve his purpose well.

Soundwave looks fantastic in robot mode (probably my favorite of the bunch), but he's kind of baffling in vehicle mode. All the others have strong forms and silhouettes, but Soundwave kind of looks like he turns into a comforter. It's weird that Hasbro tends to be squeamish about making Soundwave turn into a tape deck because that would be "too boring", but they just make him a big square anyway. Same with Siege. My hope is that the vehicle mode has been compromised to accommodate a hidden boombox mode. Although I was hoping for the same thing with Siege, and it turned out to just be a shoddy alternate mode.

I thought the Bumblebee movie was mediocre. The beginning set up the bar way too high. But, fuck me in the goat-ass, Hasbro. You’re getting me to buy movie figures again… at least they’re not the same ones as last time.

Poor Soundwave is being ganged up on:p . But all of these figures look pretty cool. I'm much more impressed with these than many of the Legacy reveals that's for sure.

No, they'll get their own toyline next year for the movie but SS figures will have to wait till 2023 so they're more accurate to the CGI models used in the film.

I know this'll get some people mad at me, but man I wish we could get some less greebly alternate heads for these guys. I'd buy Brawn and Wheeljack in a heartbeat if they did.

Plus, these toys could have some pretty incredible retools. Basically Botcon-style "they could be anyone" type of figures.

Ravage looks awful, and I'm not sure why they thought to release Shockwave in the same scale...but the rest look fantastic and I can't wait to have them all on the shelf.

They'd forcefully have to use a current/recent mold, not one from 8 years ago. That's how Hasbro usually goes for retools

I wonder if the Shockwave will possibly interact with some possible Titan class figure for Rise of the Beast, and I wonder what other characters will be turned smol, Like Blitzwing or Starscream would be cool, or even the Triple Changers as actual Triple Changers at Legends Scale (Never going to happen but still), They could even do a small Diorama Boxset like they used to if they decide to make all the Characters from the Cybertron scene into Core class
