On the app, you can fiddle with who the Chinese courier is. I've had it before where nothing picked up on the default, but a toggle through the options got me there in the end.

Worth a try? Not sure about the website though...

 

Try parcelsapp. It recognized the tracking number right away and shows me that a parcel shipment has been created and the carrier. Mine was just shipped within the day so I dont expect much more info right now.

 

I believe you are quite mistaken. By all accounts, Locke v1 and v2 is just like any other FT product. Possibly even better I dare say. Just some dabs of glue and a couple of new longer screws, solid!

We need more Acoustic Wave reviews. The Mystery of the Blue Paint/No Paint must be settled!

EDIT - Actually ParcelsApp was able detect mine as 4PX Express.

Someone needs to destroy their Acoustic Wave in a series of exuberant physical tests in order for me to be satisfied. How else could this debate ever be settled when there is so much contention? TMReviews says definitely painted, BSF says definitely not painted.

 

Can it stand up to the hydraulic press?! People need to know!

A good assumption is that they used the same paint / plastic / technique / finish as Dunerunner, so if anyone can determine if Dunerunner is painted, it's a good bet that Acoustic Wave is also painted.

Or not.

 

Truthfully, If its not painted, its some damned impressivly nice plastic....but i'm not sure either way.

 

Yay! My Acoustic Wave dropped in my Stash today! So tempted to ship now, but supposedly my Locke 2.0 replacements are dropping this week.

Guess I'll wait a little longer.

 

That's a good way to tell! You could double check by dragging a hobby knife across some surfaces! Or you could drag the figure across some cement.

Alright man, suit yourself! A real scientist would probably also try exposing the figure to fire and some solvents. Perhaps you'd be more comfortable with that?
