i'd add that if you want a real lambo back end the MP is closer (it has 2 modes, real lambo and toy inspired), but this one has a really nice hoamge to the G1 toy/diaclone back end. morever the sentinel blaze recolor looks more the part than mp spinout because those are both haomages to the origianl red diaclone and this mold has more of the detailed aesthetic than the mp IMO. the MP is also more posable but this guy is no slouch. i have mp spintout, cordon, and sunstreaker but i'll never get rid of sunsurge or sentintel blaze.

I prefer this one over the MP for aesthetics. But it really depends on what you're going for. If you want more toon, MP is the way to go.

I really wish they would do a police deco for Sunsurge

Spinout was a hot mess!

 

Sunsurge is still my MP Streaker. However, I kind of stopped on MP when the too-toon designs started dropping in favor of the old MP-10 style. Which when that started dropping I was mostly done my Ark crew anyway. My wallet is thankful for that.

If you're collecting an MP-10 style Ark crew, the old MP Hasui style, then Sunsurge is what you want. MP Sideswipe looks better next to Sunsurge than he does the official MP, imho. But again, different styles. Sunsurge is a good Badcube product regardless.
