Bruh fr this is what he should've looked like in the film at least. The color change would have set him apart from Megatron and purple is regal as fuck, KSI would totally use it; he even already has a crown of sorts, and the character himself probably wouldn't mind looking kingly. And a purple semi truck is not unrealistic at all, contrary to popular belief.

 

He could pull it off for sure!

 

So like I said I would, I’m sharing pictures of the figure I procured during Salt Lake FanX. I really like this dude. He’s not perfect but I dig it. Also, since I’m lazy and didn’t noticed until last night, but can anyone tell where the batteries go in his noggin for the eyes I’m assuming light up? Cheers and thanks for stopping by. Does anyone have any suggestions for fixing some "loose" leg extensions? They seem to just slide back down a bit too easily for me. I've heard of things like floor polish for joint tightening, but I really don't want to go overboard when it's not something that can be removed super easily.

It's weird...but I'm weird, here's my spew...though I didn't like the Bay designs I bought this guy...and I ascribe to him the cinematic lore...he's a nanite transformer. In essence, his surface damage is only ever temporary and cosmetic, resetting with each transformation at minimum and any moment at will. The K.S.I. bots are blemish free.  

 

Floor polish is never a bad idea. You just need to apply a drop or two at a time, let it dry (preferably overnight) then see how the joint is. As long as you do it little by little you can't overdo it.

 

If been thinking of a way to install some detents for holding the slider in the extended position.

I'm not really liking this as much as I thought I would, maybe its because its unpainted but the sculpt looks, off in a way? The eyes look like they've been smooshed in and the lips look too big. Again it could just be the lack of paint doing it a disservice but at the moment my interest in this head upgrade has gone down quite a bit.

 

Definitely looks better but they didn’t fix the worst thing about the design which is the eyes that are ridiculously close together. They should have gone with proportions closer to the voyager figure from 2014 when it came to the face.

 

They gave him IDW Overload lips.

That new head doesn't look very good lmao, at least in terms of accuracy. It does seem to have more details, but the overall proportions, like the oddly wide face, ruin it. Like it or not, AOE Galvatron has a weird head/face and it looks like the regular head is more accurate to it. This is cool for those who like it though!

 

Glad we got an update on the head and that it indeed can transform with it.

 

Just want to share my pics

 

Anyone have any trouble with the back wheels not touching the ground in truck mode? I've transformed it multiple times carefully to where everything lines up as it should, but those back wheels just won't touch the ground. Almost like there's a slight warp in the back end.

 

Last time I had him in truck mode one side of his wheels was higher than the other in the back and I couldn’t figure out a way to fix it. It probably boils down to being super precise with how things are positioned.

 

Ah, you're probably right. I was just curious as to whether it was happening to anyone else. Either way, it still doesn't take away from my enjoyment of this figure. He truly is awesome!!!
