Sounds a bit like the Battle of New York from the 2016 score

Ghostbusters: Afterlife review – a slimy, stinking corpse of a sequel
Well this kinda makes it feel like what I expect it to be, a Stranger Things knockoff filled to the brim with "Remember SPOOOOOCKKK???!!!" references to tickle the nostalgia fancy of people. Much like Force Awakens was, really.
While the reviewer was mandated not to spoil things, he hinted as much as possible that there will be a CGI ghost Harold Ramis.

Who is this sour faced lady and why is everyone posting her reviews these days? I mean sure nice to see some variety from the utterly useless Baxter Chris Stuckmann fellow but she ain't much better either, you cannot properly review a movie in 6 minutes. (I mean given the number of views and likes/dislikes she got for a video more than a week old, she ain't a big name). How the heck did she see this a week ago, anyway?
Checking the comments, also it seems this is a reviewer who LIKED the 2016 abomination, sooo... not sure we can take what she says for granted.

It seems the writers forgot that the Terror Hounds are sentient and very much mission-oriented, and just handle them as dumb animals? In the original they just straight up went and made a beeline to the people they had to possess, going through anything in their path. Here it just eats dog food in a store, like a random encounter thrown in for nostalgia points.
Also, booooy the effects are cheap. It looks like it's made of plastic. They should keep such monster designs in half-shadow, or darkness. They also added all these comical things that just make the creature less scary, like the car deflating at the end. In the original movies the ghosts and monsters WERE scary, the humor came from how the main characters reacted to them. Here I half expected Zuul (or Vinz, who knows) to have toilet paper hanging from the horns by the end of the Walmart chase.

Probably Vinz, Moranitz played him as a bit of a moron.

The clip seems too comedic. Hopefully they're not going the MCU route where pretty much nothing can be scary or sad without like twenty jokes to back it up. I watch the original every year around Halloween because it's actually creepy in some parts.

It definitely looks like Vinz Clortho, as the horns point upward at the tips. Zuul's horns only curve downward.

So, at 0:38, did anybody else notice the "Eyeball Ghost" from the RGB toyline (and one of the toys featured in the RGB remake toyline as well)?

    I still have this toy.
Loved the gimmick... karate chop it, to make the eye pop out.

My question is, how does Ghostbusters II fit in all this? Will its events be acknowledged, or will it get the Halloween 2018 treatment with Afterlife only acknowledging the events of the first movie?
