They changed designer, that's for sure, but AAT is just another company of Keith... No company is free from very bad releases, but those should be keep to a minimun... Something XTB is not known for unfortunately... But I know they are a quite capable of making very good figures, I own their Horrorcons and Victory Leo and those are great toys.

 

The problem with AAT is they got unlucky when their 2nd product being so bad and the alternative few months later are infinitely better than their Prime. And thus making them the black sheep of 3P company. They haven't release an enough product yet to be known as a great company.

 

Wait AAT is under Keith/XTB!? That explains a LOT.

 

Yeah, looks at their renders, those and XTB's look alike. ibot also confirmed long time ago that AAT "owner" is his friend, I suspect that it was just Keith trying to venture into the Bayverse.

The dude is just kind everywhere, owns XTB and by extension KFC. Their products over their existence have been extremely hit or miss. Ranging from really good, to ok, to bad, to horrible.

Looks nice for the most part, but the details are fairly shallow, and those dreads, man, the dreads have 0 sculpting on them. They look like noodles not dreads.

 

Hopefully we will get TW prototypes soon so we can choose the winners.

TW also dabling into these? I think these two look good and if they have UT sculpt, they will blend better with the UT toys I have.

 

Only one it would really blend in with is Lockdown who they shouldn’t really stand with. The only Dotm figure from UT coming is insanely better sculpted than these so idk.

 

These do look pretty cool, but they do seem to have a bit of that shallow detail thing going on. Plus the proportions on Crankcase seem a bit off in the head/chest area. These look promising though, so I'm definitely looking forward to seeing more!

 

I think it's the lack of a neck that's throwing off the head/chest proportions.

 

Will TW still be around long enough to follow up on their mpm release torrent? Just following from the discussions in their ww2 and Jetfire threads everyone is talking like they’re about to go under
