I hope Evil Lion-O is the bonus 5th slot. The Wave 4 pre-order being over a year ago, wasting a slot on a red repaint of Lion-O (I'm sure it'll have some cool accessories) is kind of a let-down. And that silhouette just reminds me of how outdated Lion-O is. Those proportions are all wrong for him. And doesn't the Mattel factory have this mold? Did they remake it at their factory? If they were going to do that, they should have made a Lion-O 2.0. If the Kittens are in this wave, then it probably is the Mattel factory making it. Oh boy.
I would totally buy a Lion-O 2.0! However, I can’t help but notice that TC releases are so slow compared to say, TMNT? I’m getting frustrating and just want to round off the line with at least Snarf. Characters like Hachiman (spelling?) and Vulture man are bonuses for me if S7 even get to them.
Man, you guys, I'm out of space. I have the first 4 Super 7 figures: Lion-O, Panthro, Mumm-Ra, and Jackalman, plus the "upgrade" kit (new heads, guns, and Panthro shorts). Anybody want to buy me out?
Jaga wave is awesome. Finally got my figures from Super7. Really pleased with the articulation and tolerances.
I saw something in Instagram that Super 7's next wave of Thundercats Ultimates is going on pre-order today, but it wasn't from Super 7. I can't find the source anymore... Edit: it's from thundercatsorg. Link
Wave 5 TC preorder going live today has been the rumor for the last week or two (from Thundercats.org and Fwoosh). I’m pretty sure it’ll be up in the next few hours. Really hoping for Vultureman and Snarf.
Brian said this week on Monday. For some reason people thought it was Wednesday and he clarified Friday so it’s today.
I vote for Snarf and the kids…I think those three would pretty much round out everything I want from TC.
If we get Vultureman, the Thunderkittens, and Snarf, I’d be really happy. Although I can’t imagine all of those in the same wave.
What do you think about the possibility of Snarf and the kids all coming in the same package…perhaps at a somewhat elevated price? I think there’d be some logic in that. Powered up Mumm-Ra comes with Ma-Mutt, so, there’s some precedence for animal sidekicks being included with main characters. And with the kids being smaller characters, I could see them packing those two together.
For me, all I need is Snarf. However I will be happy if we get Vultureman, Hachiman and Berbils…I need those robotic ewoks like yesterday!
