I'm just saying it isn't a fact, and the internal team in Hasbro may see Prime as the sequel no matter how bad the continuity is, I mean there are a multitude of plot holes as big as the same plot holes you pointed out in the Unicron Trilogy, yet its still considered a trilogy. The likely hood that Hasbro will go back and say officially and say the Aligned/ Exodus idea was scrapped during production is very low. And why would they go back to the continuity if they past on to newer projects. Like Transformers game either are based on the most current form of Transformers on television, the movies, or G1, maybe if the Prime figures for legacy are actually prime figure, and not just generation-ified figures like how Barricade was G1-ified for Siege.

Actually, it _*is*_ a fact. Several official sources say so, including Ask Vector Prime, a Q&A column started by Hasbro and partially written by people they've hired in the past, including Simon Furman and James Roberts. Why would said column list the novels, cartoons, and games as separate universes if they're still considered the same continuity?

Click the second link again and scroll to the very bottom of the page. TF Wiki lists Ask Vector Prime as one of their sources.

I want one that is the one game universe, kind of what the aligned games set out to do, but for gaming exclusively, that way hasbro doesn't either screw the continuity to much or make it almost unable to properly set up storys when the plot has so many holes. Imagine a Console game that sets it off, with supplementary games like for mobile and web browsers, with the console games every 4-5 years with the extra stuff giving extra backstories and sideplots. I would love that, and if they wanted to make tie in games, then they could also have the game continuity as possible dlc or extra missions, maybe for just skins, or maybe for actual plot, either one would be cool

You’re asking for way too much out of a company whose main source of profit comes from manufacturing toys.

Why is that, ok, maybe the 4-5 years thing is a little to fast, but why can't they make one big game, and 1-2 mobile games and maybe a browser game in one connected universe? I mean, were not talking about a company on their last legs, it Hasbro, with the board where on right now being about one of their Big 3. They were able to make two great games with a show that was originally made to expand on that universe, A console game with a supplementary mobile game or 2 and something a little extra doesn't seem that hard compared to two console games and a show. And plus, its pretty easy cross promotion if they make toys of the game, have it say on the packaging that it apart of this game experience or something and boom, kids now go like "Mommy mommy, I want a game" and depending on what it looks like, the teenage audience would be interested in the game, and older fans then would be ecstatic, aka, "Cool, now back to life"

Eh, the aesthetic kind of killed it for me.
    And it's G1 again.
I like G1 but the slightly deformed style turns me off.

Finally played it a bit last night and this morning. It’s a really watered down PvP tactical game where your objective is to send waves of your soldiers to the enemy base and destroy it. They do the same.

You release soldiers based on how much Energon they cost and how much you’ve accumulated. So Optimus is 4 Energon points and Whirl is 3, etc, etc. You’re constantly replenishing your Energon but you are capped at 9 Energon maximum.

It’s an okay game but I just think it’s poorly designed because in most battles you’ll likely hit a stalemate for the vast duration of the fight and then one side gets a tiny bit of luck that basically gives them an edge to win. It’s really hard to pull a come back if your opponent gets a lead.

It also uses a randomized card system for your soldiers, so you might get stuck with a deck of soldiers you dislike and are basically wasting time/resources until you get better options.

Maybe I’m just not that great at PvP or these types of games but it’s disappointing. I don’t think I’ll put much more time into this. If it had a single player campaign I’d like it a lot more.

Looks like the most boring type of mobile game, the one you do not control, but just periodically click reloading powers to spawn troops that just march in one direction, and the named characters are more like power-up attacks. Meh.
Weird selection of units though, Bonecrusher without the other Constructicons, and... Rotorstorm???

Well, I wanted it to be fun but…

The other big problem with the game is that there’s no system to level up or get better, newer cards outside of winning matches. So if you feel stuck with the gear you have, and it’s hard or tedious winning battles, then you just won’t level up. It’s like being forced to climb a hill without a way to gather resources to make the hill easier to climb.

In other games, if you are struggling to beat a boss or move up, you grind, level up and then try to move forward. You can’t do that here. You just keep hitting against the wall until you get lucky and get a win. Even winning only gets you a few things that eventually accumulate and help you level up.

I think this was purposely designed to extend the longevity of the game. It’s a loot box game without any pay-to-play mechanics. There is no in-app purchasing but it’s still a chore to play.

I really want to convince myself to play this! But I can’t. I’ll just get annoyed even more.
