I really don’t think they’d do peg seats for exactly that reason and also because it seems entirely unnecessary. It’s also possible they could have done it just so fans can come up with more accessories using 3D printers.

Isn’t that from the new BP?

    Indeed it is :D

Even though I own a Destroyer, I reckon I'll buy one.

I could certainly see TakaraTomy taking that into mind, they seemed to be tapped into the fan community pretty well (and/or the designers are kit-bashing right along with them).

I'm in the same boat... at first I was like "nah..." but then as they showed the compatability with the V-Movers, the 'integration' with the Pod Grandre... I was sold. I also got a weird hang-up on being immensely pleased with the idea of being to re-kit the VERS BP into a Destroyer with several of the other released accessory packs.

I want to test seeing if one can take those armaments and peg/store them in the Pod Grandre and using it as a re-armament platform. I got a feeling it won't quite be as "smooth" as I'd hope- but it might work. Sort of like how the Liger (from the old Zoid show) could re-outfit itself in it's combat trailer.

The more I mess with Ripper, the more I like it. He poses really well. I’m used to the lankiness now, but I’m wishing for a few small changes - namely more ankle articulation and peg holes on the back and backpack. There really isn’t anywhere to peg the swords except on the legs, which is a shame.

This figure really makes me wish tak-tomy had the license for Gurren Lagan. The way this figure works would work so well for that design.

I’m wondering if they’ll have a Waruder set at the price point of DA-90. Maybe a special kind of pod with new capabilities like those in this fan art?

    53471879-3DAE-4D03-A0BA-A68D248A0AD5.jpeg 00DE6359-532E-4694-95CC-C73BD803A7F9.jpeg 5488E1AE-E224-4F25-92C5-B462701C0B1E.jpeg

I can’t find the account that posted those (it was on Instagram, I think) but I know someone here linked to it.

Really hoping we see something like those ideas revealed as sets similar to DA-90. Please, TakaraTomy? :D

Love those designs & wish they would produce something similar.

It wasn't Instagram but a foreign (Japanese perhaps) website.

A beetle inspired waruder unit? YES.

There's a dollar store ko line from the early 2000's that's been released in many nations under many names that utilized a beetle inspired ground unit that could seat two 1/60 scale pilots. I'd love to see Takaras take on that unit /concept.

Finally redeemed myself in the eyes of the collecting gods, and bought DA-75 &76 after having to, with great shame, cancel the PO on TCP. Of course being a dumbass, I forgot to check and notice I had a 25 dollar gift certificate, Did get enough points on a purchase to get another, so compensated for the extra 10 dollars they put on each after they came in.

Time for a coffee fueled Friday Diaclone update. The other night I drug out all of my sets to surround my finally complete Pod Grander. Holy moley I've really gone for it this year with this line. I actually got my kickstart into Diaclone by selling off Panzer Dragoon Saga for the Sega Saturn so that made it fairly easy to jump in. Anyway, talking about Diaclone and the associated price is beating a dead horse. :horse:

    IMG_9647.jpeg IMG_9644.jpeg

I'm def at the point where I've run out of space where I display things so I'm going to have to pick and choose what stays out. I certainly feel like I appreciate them more when I do different combos and put some away. The powered suits are much easier to just scatter everywhere so that's cool. I sort of realized that while I love my Dia-Battles Red Lightning's appearance it's probably the weakest of my sets. My head rising mechanism is screwed up and the weird uneven thigh ratchets make for a robot that tends to take a tumble. I hope at one point they do a total redesign of Dia-Battles. I feel like TT has learned a lot since the first one so it would probably be incredible.

Speaking of issues, did anyone ever figure out paint that matches the V-MAX's yellow knees or have any experience with trying to fix it? Mine has chipped off on the back side and I thought about touching it up and putting some clear coat on it. Maybe I should just leave it be.

DA-90 is looking amazing. The bikes have always been one of my favorite parts of the line so it's cool to get another style. Someone mentioned that there are three type already? Is that true? I thought we just had the Ride Falcon and Road Viper. I wonder if the red paint on the pod will be metallic. In the fancy promo on the front page it looks shiny. It's a nice option for someone curious about the line too. You get a dianaut and a bike along with storage. Even if you don't dive all the way in you can have a cool desk toy.

I'm still waiting on my Waldaros to come in from BBTS and after watching this guy's video review
I'm DYING for it! I missed out on the original Waldaros so this will be my first huge set. He looks so badass!!

I'm sure it's been mentioned in the thread before, but do people know about Archecore? I was on their official website and got a kick out of their diorama style promo photos that look just like the ones on the Diaclone site. The line looks very cool, but there's only room for one of these lines in my life. Diaclone is more my aesthetic for sure.

edit: Holy crap! Just got notification from BBTS that I’ll be charged for Waldaros soon. What timing!

I was just thinking earlier that we need something smaller than even the LegioCores or earlier Flinger/Stang as they are much bigger than early Powered Suits. I would just love a small thing for Waruders.

I remember seeing these a couple of months ago, probably on here... That first one is heavily inspired by the vintage Walk Insecters, (which is on my "most wanted" toy list).

My apologies... That was me. I think I was tired and confusing myself on the second Viper. I went back through all my bikes and it was just those two molds.

Updates: Just FYI - TF Source still hasn't got DA-75/76 in... Hopefully, it is really soon...

Also: Finally decided I just had to go ahead and expand my storage and do more organizing. I upgraded my Waruders to a full-size tackle box for parts and spread the Diaclone stuff into two... Still have a couple of bins and more boxes to sort/unpack, but I'm now thinking I need to get one more for each.  Big parts still will be in bins, but this way I have easy access to all guns, swords, chairs, etc.

I'm glad I cancelled all of my BBTS orders. Some had been on pre-order for months. I now have all my things. Never using BBTS again.

(I'm in Australia so it's not like I get free or good shipping with them anyway)

To be fair, it isn't BBTS's fault. The global supply network has been a mess since the pandemic began and the US ports have been clogged. All the US based retailers have been at the mercy of this. There are cargo ships that have been waiting to unload for months. On top of that, the increased amount of online purchasing has changed the nature of shipping to a new model that shipping companies are struggling to understand. It is starting to get a little better since the President's executive order went into effect a couple of weeks ago, freeing up resources and overtime at the docks. But as we near the holiday season, I fear most of those gains will be lost...

None of that even touches on other related issues like the problems with empty containers backing up, virus and non-virus labor issues, etc. that are going on at the same timeSomeh
    Adding vv
Some actually got DA-75/76 ahead of original US expected date from BBTS. (It was probably the very first ones to preorder.) Somehow, a ship jumped ahead of even prior released sets...

One other thing for those starting out to note, those who have a record of cancelling preorders do get bumped down in priority and those that abuse the preorder system can have the ability to cancel preorders removed... Just be aware.
