Understandable, but one of them is a b-day present? Which JUST recently have surpassed unfortunately. Its funny you said, a lot of the pre-orders go back, but I see a lot peeps getting new figures (Waspinator, Shadow Panther), etc. Something doesn't add up here.

I thought about getting the Rainmaker at Entertainment Earth. But feared on keeping track handling multiple order locations, lol.

 

Hasbro has reportedly started trying to get around the shipping problems by using "other methods" to get their products over here. I don't have concrete details on that but supposedly they have chartered their own ships or may be simply having their freight unloaded at different ports and distributing it from there. I can't say for sure as everything is hearsay. Ironically it's because Shadow Panther and Waspinator are later releases that we've been able to get them. Half a year worth of stuff is "stuck in the system" of the older shipping methods Hasbro was using, so stuff manufactured later is actually arriving faster because it's not stuck in that system, having been shipped via different methods. The extremely low transparency we receive from Hasbro doesn't help. People would probably feel better if they had some more specifics, but all anyone says is "covid-related delays."

Unfortunately, getting things to us on time for our birthdays cannot possibly be part of their priorities, we are just faceless customers with order numbers for product SKUs that haven't arrived yet.   If it helps, I hope you had a happy birthday anyway.

I've been hearing rumors of alternative ports getting tons of "small" business right now. Issues are still there but it spreads the pressure around. Supposedly the pass through truck route from Alaska through Canada to Washington is the busiest it has ever been despite driver shortages and extra border controls.

 

I'm half afraid to ship my one measly pile of loot item considering the shitting ship show right now, but I would want it before christmas

So now my POL is basically all the Unrustable Bastard stuff (minus the face pack), and a MOTU figure. I don't know why that sort of thing is always funny to me.

 

I've had 10+ orders (orders, not pre-orders) spread out everywhere before but, I totally understand if someone doesn't want to (or can't) keep track of multiple orders.

 

Yeah, I thought about cancelling my Galvatron and Rainmakers. Then order Galvatron on Amazon, while getting the Rainmaker at Entertainment Earth.
