Saw that Kapow has Sweep's in stock today!
So hopefully Pulse will be following suit shortly, maybe I'll get him next week.

Double #deskbot day for SS Dropkick. Both versions.

    20211104_094232.jpg

Initially got the chopper version because I am a sucker for flying Cons. Also it's a blue Super Cobra. But that robot mode is ropey. The car version? Brilliant in both modes so Cobrakick will stay in vehicle mode.

Carkick from @Knightdramon who may have also sold me Chopkick but can't recall.

I think they mean't no pre-orders on Pulse - I'd like to assume that IDT, SAF and the rest are going to put their stock up for pre-order once they know its coming.

Woot, glad you're enjoying him dude! Not my Chopkick...I got mine in a happy accident last year and that transformation has secured a spot for him on my misc shelf ever since.

I guess it might just drop on Pulse in the same way that the Ravage set did?

FYI, the MOTU Origins Jitsu wave is in random Smyths stores (not NI as usual, going by their 'stock checker' at least)

Same goes for Kingdom Waspinator, the Smyths in Walsall had a whole case of them but he’s listed as out of stock everywhere on their website so it’s worth a look.

It was amazingly badly worded and the follow up explanation was equally unhelpful.

Yup. MMC got great mileage out of that mold. Tarn, SG Tarn, Thunderclash, Machine Wars Prime, Roller.... Thunderclash has plenty of back kibble, but he's still a damn fine figure. How palatable he is to you can be very dependent on your views on Milne feet. He haz them. In spades. Spade-Milne feet.

I blot out the horror of seeing Magnus torn asunder. He's going in for a hug. I choose to believe that.

I did a full re-watch of the show in the lead up to the Many Saints coming out, and yeah - still one of the greats. Certainly agree Tony earned a death in that show. He was the 'hero' but he was still repugnant.

Though the cut to black never annoyed me.

Jesus wept. I think I'll be needing that. I have the Botcon Shockeract version, and it's bloody pin-headed. This looks suitably beefy.

Feel better soon. Let us know what you think of the game.

I may have to buy at least a couple of Slammer as a safety order if I can't be sure of securing a case or some reduced price ones later on.
two should give me an idea if it works well to Lego together with other things or not.

One of the additional advantages of having multiple Fossilisers though is you can potentially armour up everyone or experiment with different configurations - it seems if a toy is Voyager scale and has plenty of ports on it then you can get two or 3 armour sets on the same figure at a stretch - sometime I may have to go off message and see what AEC toys play well with the disassembly figures.

Speaking of which any work on what an "Energon Monster" actually is yet ?
    ----------

I am really finding myself enjoying Doubledealer again a lot now he's fitted with the leg extenders - but I wish someone had given him the same sort of love that something like Studio Series Wreck-far got - as he still has a fair few gaps to fill.
    -----------

So what do people think of Core Class Figures in general ?
What would you prefer that they "were" either smaller versions of main characters (ironically named as they are called "core class" and someone like Megatron, Optimus & Starscream are "Core Characters") So we are getting (likely) both Thundercracker and Skywarp, and Hot Rodimus. - I think Shockwave as well.

I also notice that there are doing the same sort of thing with the New live Action Movie line and even Studio Series 86 type releases like Wheelie.

But I got to thinking when I read there was a Wheelie Core class as it got me wondering why not Live Action Movie Wheelie or Frenzy in that size ? I guess it would work for Devices in general too.

But I liked the smaller characters getting smaller toys that re designed to interact with the larger ones - as with Rattrap - I think it's still worth doing the occasional Minibot even if they do them as Deluxes now by habit I don't object to the option of both so long as they spread it out a bit - it makes sense where there is a bit of stylisation to the other options - so with the likes of Warpath or Cosmos that wouldn't be so bad,

Though to be honest I wouldn't object to Legion and legends class coming back at some point either - if only because we can see how nicely Legends as a size worked for a small sub-group character like the Battletrap or the Clones.
If it wasn't for the gappyness of them I'd reference the Cyberverse armour figures too.

I think perhaps we have had to many subtle size changes over the years for smaller figures. Perhaps Hasbro can return to making Legion Class again for some future live Action Movie and maybe that will kickstart the idea. Core class is kinda similar to the old Cyberverse Commander scale as well I guess so if you think of Optimus, Shockwave, Starscream as akin to that then Legion class works nicely with that.

I do really think there is an argument to be made of making a wave of "Market six" repaints - just for fun. It's easy enough to come up with some options. Detritus, Lift Ticket, RollBar, Ricochet, Red Wing (and other similar "seekers" like Sunstorm too for example), they used to make those 5 packs of giftsets many years ago - I'd be VERY up for another couple of those for sure. Heck they could even do a shattered Glass one I'd say.

it seems really nuts to me that there was never a Western Star Cyberverse Commander or Legion toy as they stopped making them before they got there - they did take a sort of half-hearted stab at the size with The Bumblebee Movie I guess. but they seemed a bit out of scale with the others to me.

But as Dinobots never seem to go out of Fashion I'd be happy to have some Core Class Dinobots that would be fun.

It's almost certainly Kremzeek. Probably in two sizes to have his normal form and his 'roided up' form

Yeah, I was fine with the end of the Sopranos, better that than putting a dampener on such an amazing show.

By coincidence I seem to be joining Magnus Day one day after as my HLJ order of the Takara version of Netflix Ultra Magnus, and 'Transformers Adventures' PrRiD Overload came this morning. Netflix Ultra Magnus is destined to become Omega Magnus, part of Revenant Prime's Terrorbots :ev:  I'm hoping to paint up some parts of it, not least of which parts of the chest armour as I've always thought it looked rather skulllike....

The gaps don't bother me personally, though I'm not generally bothered by gaps as much as some people so that's probably just preference. I headcanon the gaps over where his legs are in ship mode as hangar bays :)

The lack of even some of the turrets rotating is my only real complaint, and I kind of wonder with how they all have holes under them if that's some kind of relic that suggests they were possibly supposed to rotate originally? Considering lead in times it seems quite possible that the Ark was mid design when Covid hit so I do wonder if that resulted in some kind of issues?
I quite like him in the both modes, I have him looming about, great fun :D

HOW many times can we traumatise kids' by killing Optimus? :lolol

Sorry, but for some reason I find it funny when our local leaker needs to ask these questions :lol

Not just him by the looks of it... also not drunk, he clealy said bong he's high! :D

They are great bots. I have all four SS figs of Shatter and Dropkick. They're all great - though Car Shatter lives up to her name a bit too well with how easily several bits detach... does anyone know if the Buzzworthy Bumblebee version fixed that at all? Which is a shame as I quite like her robot mode with the leather jacket look and the visored head. I think Jet Shatter and Car Dropkick are my favourites of those four. Though I do wish we had a Dropkick who incorporated similar fake kibble like Jet Shatter has fake car kibble in robot mode to reference the triple changer aspect even if they can't pull it off with modern engineering.

    Awww <3

Vos/Cynicus arrived, looked really cool, super posable. Then I tried to transform him and first time unpegging the backpack sheared off the ball jointed clip his gun sight sits in clean in half..

Pretty sure it’s not structural, and I think with some decent superglue and sanding it will be ok, but that did not feel good…. Second MMC figure and this just feels like a totally different plastic quality to not Tarn, all the similar grey plastic is really brittle and showing stress marks and I’ve had him open 20 mins….

I still really like him, but the cost of the figure versus instantly breaking pieces kinda makes me have second thoughts
