I want FT versions of every cassette that appeared in the toon, including Auto-scout and the dinos that just appeared in that one scene. I'm all or nothing when it comes to toon appearances.

No wonder Bombusbee can afford to give that price to people who POed. He's sold 600 plus copies of this thing. Baba only sold 200 plus.

Man FT probably produced at least 10K copies if we take the entire global market into account.

 

Normally I would agree with the doubt, but FT has made it clear they are doing Japanese Headmasters with some of the designs they have shown, and Soundblaster was in that show so he is a toon character to be released if they really are doing "every character" as has been reported (I don't know where that actually came from).

I also would only expect 4 more Decepticon cassettes at most from them (Buzzsaw, Auto-Scout, Overkill, Slugfest) simply because those are the only ones that appeared in the toon at all.

 

I think the lesson here is: If BBB has a preorder with an actual good price attached in advance, it’s worth grabbing. If it’s price unknown, it could go either way.

I feel like Brandon was just assuming rather than confirming. Soundblaster is one of the few non-Seeker straight repaints that appeared in the cartoon.

 

This is what I was thinking, he said it with the sound of pure assumption/speculation that it could be a thing, not it is going to be a thing. If he had that info at this point, I think more people would know of it as well.

I agree with your grouping and reasoning except subbing out Auto-Scout with Ratbat. I think MMC is done after the 4 Autobot cassettes so we may be stuck with KFC for the combiner tapes and some of these more obscure offerings.

I think FT actually produces way more stuff than other 3P, despite the prices. When other 3P dries up it's just completely gone, like you can go weeks or even months without seeing one on ebay. But with Fanstoys there's always some available on ebay, you just have to be willing to pay whatever the late tax is.
