Seriously though, much of the cost of importing from the US seems to be due to the American postage service, rather than anything at my end - I find shipping from other nations usually tends to work out cheaper.

Mail came just as I was about to leave. I need to dig around for my EX version to do a side by side of the silver vs black gun modes, but Translucetron will do for now. Excellent paint as always from NA. Tolerances are good. Legs aren’t loose, but aren’t as firm as the upper body. Transformation will have to wait until I’m back tonight, but I’m overall happy with it out of the box



After a few transformations, I definitely don’t regret picking this one up. Still stands as one of NA’s best imo, and is still fun to flip back and forth. If there are any nit picks I could list, they’re that the area above the trigger guard and the elbow tab along the right side of the gun were left unpainted. It really breaks the cohesion of the high gloss finish. Those same areas were painted silver on the EX version, so it’s a little perplexing as to why they were left bare on this even higher priced repaint. There really isn’t anything else I take issue with on this guy. An excellent exclusive that I’m happy to have

Its not as noticeable in black, but I wonder if wherever I got the back fillers from is making one for this.

Shipping to Canada was pretty damn expensive from TCP (it ain't their fault, that's just how it is right now) so I've got mine sitting in the stash until some other things come in to spread the shipping out a bit. These pics are really helping me cope with the waiting lol.

Could someone take a picture of him with some MPs like Autobot cars? I'm ultimately putting this guy with my Pre-TF MPs and I'm just curious how it'll turn out. I'm basically treating him as someone like Rumble/Frenzy who are small guys turn into small things.

 

I've only got an MP-04, but here's a quick photo for you. Not sure how he'd look with other/larger MPs, hopefully somebody can help with comparisons to those.

Just got mine in today. Looks even better in person to me. The whole crotch/ab area feels much better than on my EX Megs with the upgrade legs who is rather floppy. Had to pop the new face on EX cuz, ya know, he should had it in the 1st place.

 

dammit, why you go and do that?!?!? now i want an EX with pistolonynx face too!  

 

I'm guessing the coming reissue of EX will come with the new face as well as the improved legs. I love that NA does these toy deco versions so much!
