Picked up Home Alone at the Lego store today, it's a pretty big set/box. It was already on display in the front window too, looks nice. I'm not a diehard Home Alone fan (I mean, is anyone?) but it's a classic and will fit in with the rest of the holiday themed stuff.

Debated waiting until VIP weekend but who knows if it will still be in-stock then. Will try again then but if not at least we have it. The Lego store guy said people started lining up at 8am (store opened at 11am) and they sold like 24 in the first hour!

For anyone that did the bricklink designer program last time, do they let you preorder different sets at once, or do you have to order each on its own?

UCS AT-AT images have leaked (M&R videos are up if you can't find them). Looks like... Well, a Lego AT-AT.

I have no room to display it but as I only collect the minifig scale UCS sets I might have to make room for this... Somehow. Will look awesome with a system AT-ST walking alongside it (new one is on the way, though I already have the Rogue One release).

I need to see the actual thing, but I think I’m in - have a lot of points to use up that will make it more tolerable.

didn’t know there was a new AT-ST coming either - want another crack at a UCS one though.

This is THE Star Wars set I've been waiting for since they started making them. Those pics look pretty legit, and if so, I'm down for a copy. Looks like the legs can indeed move, although they use gearing, which requires a tool to rotate the various rotation points, which, at this scale, is a good compromise. It's certainly better than its being just a statue. love all the interior work. tentatively very excited. I also have a boatload of VIP points that I've been saving up for just such an occasion.

I ordered two at once. The link on Bricklink will automatically add it to cart on Lego.com so just pick the ones you want and check out. Word of warning, site was really slow at the beginning so put some time aside.

Supposedly the UCS AT-AT will be officially revealed by Lego around November 9th with a release date of Black Friday, and rumored to include an Anakin/Luke Skywalker lightsaber hilt build as an accompanying GWP.

I think I could probably stop collecting LEGO Star Wars after this one.

The UCS AT-AT looks cool and enormous.  I picked up Bricklink parts for the plus-sized AT-AT MOC some time ago. I am very curious to see if the LEGO Group will introduce any new parts with their official UCS set and how the completed build compares to the MOC.

Wow, look at how complete the interior is; cockpit looks good too. Seems like it might be close to actual minifig scale (always the best kind of UCS set in my opinion).

Also, it must be solid as a ROCK to support its weight on posable legs. Really curious to see the engineering, even though I will probably never own the set itself, haha.

Looking forward to seeing the new Hoth AT-ST as well!

Closer looks at the photos do indicate some sort of tool (a screwdriver or Allen wrench) that must be used to change up the positioning of the legs, so they are articulated; just not easily moved. The gearing and joints used must be pretty strong in order to support the weight of this beast. The tool can be stored right behind the display stand placard so it's out of sight, which is neat.

Man, I can probably only afford one of these monsters money- and display-space wise. Heck, even the playscale AT-AT (a great set in and of itself) takes up a lot of real estate. Combined with the rumored Snowtrooper battle pack in Jan-Feb 2022, this really makes me want to get going with my Battle of Hoth display (still have a bunch of Snowspeeders and Hoth sets boxed up waiting to be put together, to include the maligned UCS Echo Base set).

Looks and sounds promising. Won’t be a day 1 for me but I’ll definitely save up for one. Thinking at least 1K in Canada.
