Looks cool - wonder how it will compare with the Action Toys version? That was a pretty nice figure and I hate myself for selling it (and at a big loss too)

 

How come there’s never been an SOC figure of Kotetsu Jeeg even though Kotetsushin Jeeg has one? I’d love to buy one if/when Bandai finally makes it.

Not too tempted to deep dive into the Chogokin series, but I do note there has been a Raideen/Reideen, but many versions/variations. Any thoughts on any of those?

 

Reideen is tough. I would wait till they release an updated version. (I own the SOC and SRC)

Oooooh Doublas is an option, so is King Joe… kinda bummed King Joe Black isn’t up for consideration though.

Which one is considered the worst SOC?

 

Good question. Would it just be GX-01 by default since we've gotten so many better Mazingers since?

 

I think Jeeg was considered a dud. Limbs too heavy for the magnetic joints, so the toy was a floppy ragdoll.

Personally speaking, Daizyujin was somewhat of a disappointment. Not the worst thing ever, but could have been so much better with just the tiniest bit of care. That it was the centrepoint of the whole Ultrazord platform just made it so much more irritating.

 

I will vote for the worst one just to mess with them. Hehehe.

Looking at it, I actually only have one SOC and I prefer its DX version which is not really a massive improvement. :/

 

I think Daimos is the most popular. I could see VoltesV..again.
