Haha- from the burbs of London to a village in Essex close to the border of Suffolk. Nice and peaceful to bring up my son with no gangs or graffiti and litter.

Only a few miles from Colchester. 60 to London.

I’m lucky I can work remotely. Internet was and still is crap where I am when I moved to West Bergholt but virgin put down fibre optics and I have a nice ninja connection. Went from old dial up connection speeds to 200+ . Mobile phone connection can be iffy at times. Smell of farmers putting manueur down can waft a bit. Clears the sinuses. Hehe.

Soundwave should transform into a portable gaming console aka the Switch/DS. This would make his mode relevant and he could look pretty much exactly the same so people can stop wanking on about it.

    His Casetticons are now Cartridgecons.

There I have solved Transformers forever.

(This is a joke. Nothing will stop people wanking on about Soundwave's alt-mode.)

I’d wager a good many collections started and established ones increased substantially over the Covid period. At least you have maintained focus on what you are after for your collection.

I’m all over the shop at the moment with TFs.

Keep thinking I’ve slipped up venturing into the Mcfarlane Warhammer 40k line. Squad building is the danger!

DPD delivered. But not Prime. When I saw the size of the outer box I thought MP Prime has clearly mass shifted to the size of a deluxe

Megatron will have to make do kicking this guy’s butt:

Completely forgot I had this POd at Omega. I acquired his line buddy Grumps from our very kind thread member @nice sideburns between 6-12 months ago.

Sigh, email from Amazon UK letting me know they are having trouble sourcing their own exclusive Star Wars Black Series Mando figure...

Nervous glance at all those Transformers Golden Disk pre-orders.

Nice area, been there a few times for work. Also a University friend lived in Bures, went to visit them once or twice.

Oh you sweet summer child... (/laughs in North Aberdeenshire)

You and me both. I jinxed it with an earlier post referencing Amazon having previous for not fulfilling orders.

Bures is very nice. Actually had a client living that way which made it easy meeting up for financial reviews. Although it was pretty good meeting them in their apartment in the Barbican. A lovely view of St Pauls from their lounge. Lots of building developments there now obscuring the once beautiful views they had.

My best client, no longer with us sadly was from Aberdeenshire. Huntly is where she was born and bred. She was a part owner in a business in Banchory Lodge. Link to the business below. If anybody is looking for a weekend retreat/getaway, definitely consider this place. Fantastic views/setting.

50/50 Aberdeenshire Luxury Hotel Offer | Banchory Lodge Hotel

I’m not on a retainer or commission by them for getting people to book.

Do you go back to Aberdeenshire very much?

Au contraire - I had no Unicron Trilogy figures before Covid. My main collection was - still is? - CW combiners and Headmasters/Masterforce characters, with a sprinkle of Generations.
In April of last year I thought it would be good to recover the Cybertron Defense Team, and since then it's been a slippery slope. Next delivery: Megabolt Megatron.

A successful trip was had at Smyths last night.

Managed to pick up one of those MOTU Mega Bloks sets as well as a WWE Triple H figure - managed to get the red tights chase figure too! Although once I got home had buyers remorse as I think I'd have preferred the blue tights version as its more 'iconic' due to him wearing them in the ladder match he had with The Rock.

Last night was the first time in a very long time that I looked at TFs in a shop. I have to say that I'm happy that I've scaled back on TF purchases as Kingdom is a confirmed slippery slope to oblivion! I was blown away with how lovely they all looked in particularly Tracks and Wheeljack.
From the pics of Galvatron that I've seen they looked to have the correctly assembled shoulders too.
My youngest son was impressed with the OG BW figures. He wanted Cheetor but I thought it may be a bit too complicated and fragile for him.

Was just looking at my terrasaur order on amazon.com, thinking about cancelling it since a fellow threadizen kindly hooked me up with a pulse order. But then I remembered.... Amazon. So left it in as a safety order. If the pulse one turns up first, I can cancel the amazon one. If I don't get to cancel it in time, I'm certain I'll be able to shift him. Assuming he does turn up.

And while I was on amazon US, I discovered a siege shockwave sitting in my cart. Which had been reduced. 60quid including delivery and vat. So.... yeah, that may have been ordered.:confused2

    @Seeaich,
Has there been a price listed for that Dinobot kit?

I think a lot of people got into collecting again through Covid and lockdowns. I certainly rekindled my love of Lego. It is nice to have a hobby where you are not staring at a screen.

Haha - sounds like we all slip up on the plastic collecting.

I thought the figure you have coming soon is familiar. @nice sideburns posted this in Sept. He put the head on ER Scorpy.

Why does Amazon think they are getting the Golden Disc items 3 entire months before Hasbro - I know they got some items previously a bit earlier but 3 months just seems really unrealisitic to me - I bet those dates get changed.
