For a minute I thought I read Fox and then though...oh this will get cancelled in no time. this could be cool.
This is great news. It's definitely one of the best comics that I have ever read, I'm surprised they didn't do this sooner after Walking Dead got so popular. FX is also probably one of the best networks out there at the moment. They have a lot of great shows and almost none that I would call really bad. I'm glad they're making a series out of it rather than a movie like they thought about doing for a while because I think this story would benefit from the TV format.
I can imagine Diane Lane thinking, "Uh, please don't refer to me as Man of Steel's Diane Lane." It's like saying 'Dirty Grandpa's Robert De Niro'.

Damn, A) i didn’t know Monday’s ep was the finale, and B ) i enjoyed every ep but the Costco crazies back story.
Glad this got cancelled faster than you could say "Robert Merle did it better". Maybe finally they will learn to do sci-fi shows right? I could barely slog through the first episode, characters were annoying, cliches, or some even downright insulting caricatures like the president. It's fine if the Boys does that sort of thing, it is a satire, but this was trying to be a serious show... What posts? I see the mods weeded out basically every interesting discussion in this topic.
It has some great parts but lots of really non-directional side story uselessness. It went from the world is ending and figuring out why to lets deal with everyone's crazy back story. The EP where the Costco girls went full frontal cult was a bit of a shocker.
