Nearly died of shock when I saw Wrexham Game finally had some TF's in (a single Earthrise Skylynx & Kingdom Inferno).

Kept an eye out for Ryan Reynolds wandering the town too, but I think he's off sightseeing the local countryside today.

So has anyone had a dispatch notice from Hamley's? I bought a Rodimus on Tuesday & still haven't had a thing from them besides the order confirmation.

 

Same, I ordered both on Tuesday and nothing after the order confirmation so far. Hope we get our stuff.

 

I had a friend order from them (not transformers but still) and it took a good 5 days to dispatch. Did arrive though!

 

Really hope so too!!! They're a reputable place, but the radio silence hasn't been too reassuring!

Game have upped their, er, game! A little branded Hasblo shelf now with a fair selection of TFs. I’m guessing they are buying new stock now not greys hence the RRPs.

Very confusing mixed messages from In Demand. First it was tell them the part and they'd pop the correct one off another and send it to me.

They then claimed they couldn't get the foot off, so I'd have to send them the whole figure back for a replacement.

Now it's keep the figure, take £5 from them and can I meet them at another convention.

....what?

 

Could be that they did try to pop the foot off and had no joy, so were trying to offer an alternative while limiting the cost to themselves.

I was at Roll Out Roll Call in Southampton a few years ago and bought T30 Windblade off their stall, which upon opening dissolved into a pile of subpar screws and plastic. I took it back to them and got a refund, which is of course at cost to them. Feeling bad about it, because they are good guys like the Kapow and C&C guys and many more are, I bought a plush Havoc Staff and the Acid Storm/Venin pack off them because I did feel bad for them.

 

You sure they aren't giving you a choice? Ie send back for us to swap\replace or take £5 off?

 

Except the messages came in the order stated, so if anything they're backtracking unprompted after offering to replace it and linking me their returns label.

 

Only backtracking insomuch as they would've done a parts swap for you but can't, so they're offering you other options.

Spotted Kingdom Waspinator on the shelves at Toymaster in Southend-on-sea yesterday afternoon! Lots in stock, alongside a larger range of Transformers than I've seen before in there! Was being sold at £18.99, and must have had about eight or so on the shelves - I think.

Didn't get one myself, but it might be worth a trip to a Toymaster if you are after one!

i know Argosy has the buzzworthy small twin pack with spike.

Not had a look in the small independant one near chalkwell park for a few weeks

 

I've had my hamleys dispatch notice just now for the ark. So that's 7 days since order. Long as it comes in the next few days its still within their 7-10 period advised.
