    Question for @wheeljackfan16

The files such as the Devastator locks... How do we get you to print those? I don't have a printer but I'd love to buy stuff like that.

Oh awesome, another kit to keep an eye on, been wanting a shield for Dai Atlas, hoping it has decent compatibility in base mode.

I would also be up for a better face for him but not the end of the world.

TFSafari listed some of the KO accessories in one set of 4. Cheaper per piece. I didn't like the grainy / glittery metallics although that's easy to repaint.

TFSafari did note this Tracks set is made by a group called Superman Studio. Posted an auction listing about it earlier.

Looks like YYW put out some swords for Kingdom Skywarp that have some functionality differences from JRC's set. Dunno how I feel about the way they store away, I think I prefer JRC's set overall. I will say they look really cool, did a good job making them look mean and sharp.

Sweetmall has it listed so I'm sure all the usual sellers will too:

Yeah face that they used for Dai Atlas was bad. It was scaled for a Deluxe figure, not a Leader. I just got an Overlord head and painted it blue.

Tim Heada posted this axe. Blades will not be transparent. Not excited due to all the various QC blunders his kits have had. Not buying another one in the foreseeable future. Shame because the transformable null rays were so good, but every other kit I've tried afterward were not.

ZX posted this pic of their upcoming weapons sets. MSS said their Beast Wars Grimlock set is coming out this year some time.

I recently tried another Starscream Studio set. QC was flipping awful. I would not recommend anything from them. Even worse than early MW kits.

Bought the Matrix Workshop M-63 kit for Shattered Glass Megatron.

    WOW.

What a well-made and GORGEOUS kit. Using the translucent resin and then hitting it with a nice blue paint was nothing short of stunning. It's gorgeous in hand. Shame I don't actually have the figure, yet. I can't believe I have the upgrade kit before the figure, even though I was charged for the figure either the same time or just before I bought the kit... FFS, Pulse.

Can't wait to see it on him! I love that the barrels swivel, too. Better yet? The Armada tank piece (lovely homage to the original toy, btw) is super detailed for such a small accessory and even its barrel swivels up and down! My gosh, they're getting really good with these kits. The paint apps are dang good, really dang good.

Got this one in, today. The spire cracked when I went to transform him. (The swivel point is fine, where it tabs in for cannon mode is the troublesome area.) The resin is very thin towards the back and it just can't take the pressure of the tab it slides onto. I hit it with some UV resin in a pen and that helped a bit. It's still fully transformable and holds just fine, just an unsightly crack in it. The rest of the kit, however... *chef's kiss* F'yeah!

The stickers weren't even remotely terrible to cut out. Came right off the paper and he looks so much better with this kit installed. The stickers, the shoes, the pin covers...all of it does such a great job of making him a mini-masterpiece. I realize there's a budget for Has/Tak but these pieces are so simple to execute that it's just them being ridiculously cheap. They were so close to greatness and stopped short of it. Takes a good figure and makes him great, excellent, even!

Those pictures were dated too he hadn't reached his final form yet lol. I added the reprolabels set they did and it just made him look that much better

Can anyone with either of the Kingdom Scorponok upgrade kits post side and back views of their best configuration of him in scorpion mode? I really want to get one of the kits, but I want it to be the least compromised animal form.

Yes. They're a tight fit, but yes, they work.

Yep, they work just fine. The beast legs are the same tooling between the two figures.

It grinds my gears that Punch/Counterpunch stuff is phoned in this way, seemingly from everyone.

    Repro.Man Punch/Counterpunch and Hardhead Guns
Received these all 2 weeks ago, left him a disappointed message last week (to no response), and left feedback prior to this post.

    Repro.Man Punch Twin Mortar Gun
The Punch twin mortar gun ended up arriving a shade of yellow that feels more like it's for the Galactic Odyssey re-release of PCP. The bottom of the handle was particularly bad about leftover mould flashing, had to file that off lest it wedge itself into Punch's hands and not play nice.

Resin cast up top, OEM pistol mid, and Chinese 3D printed & painted gun bottom.
    20211024_180451 - Copy.jpg

The seam of the gun in particular is rough. All of them are. Seller made an effort to clean up the flashing around the seams as best as possible, but the voids in the mould/breaks in the detailing (likely from bubbles formed during the resin casting) are just... sloppy. Maybe it's unfair of me to think of all of ziltama's posts where he specifically mentions he gets rid of the bubbles in his own custom casts, but I would've thought that kind of workmanship would be standard if you're going to sell these publicly and at low quantities.
    20211024_180246 - Copy.jpg 20211024_180304 - Copy.jpg 20211024_180356 - Copy.jpg

Silver lining to all of this is that since this is a reproduction of the vintage gun, I know the handle of the vintage gun wouldn't have been long enough for a secure hold anyway. It technically works, but only kinda/sorta and that damnable 3D printed gun is a more secure fit/hold in Punch's hand by comparison.
    20211024_180629 - Copy.jpg 20211024_180832 - Copy.jpg

    Repro.Man Counterpunch Photon Rifle
The Counterpunch photon rifle recast has the same short G1 handle, but surprisingly holds better in Counterpunch's hand than the twin mortar for Punch. The barrel of the rifle is really rough to the touch along the seam though. And I have no idea what happened at the back of the rifle, but filed it down to try and improve things. At least with black it's significantly harder to screw up a colour match, finish notwithstanding.

Chinese 3D printed & painted gun up top, Resin recast bottom.
    20211024_181041 - Copy.jpg 20211024_181222 - Copy.jpg 20211024_181128 - Copy.jpg

It's like he left the gun baking in over hot coals/in a furnace when he holds it in-hand, what with how the seam looks.
    20211024_181436 - Copy.jpg

    Repro.Man Hardhead Gun Set
At this point, I just find it funny that none of these guns are even trying to colour match the OEM pair at the top of the comparison shots (yes, I truly belong in these forums if I'm enough of a pedant to buy a second TR Hardhead for the gun...). I didn't get a response when I asked if the vintage toy's guns were on-hand for colour matching either.

OEM TR rifles up top, Chinese 3D printed & painted guns mid, Resin recasts bottom.
    20211024_175427 - Copy.jpg

There's a noticeable void from bubbles near the back of a rifle. Seams are same as the rest. Most of the flashing was trimmed on these ones already, though the visual roughness is still there.
    20211024_175505 - Copy.jpg 20211024_175712 - Copy.jpg

And hey, he holds it well enough?
