Primal was reissued a few years ago and was the same MSRP as the original run. As far as I know, reissues have never been priced higher than their first release.
The recently announced Primal reissue seems to be a Hasbro Asia release, which is why it is more expensive. A Primal reissue has not been announced by TakaraTomy.

I would assume that a hypothetical Hound reissue would not be more expensive than the first time around.

Arcee: Isn’t this campfire neat Daniel?
Daniel: It’s fine for a forest fire.


Grimlock: Me Grimlock want to hear story. Tell story Kup!
Kup: Cool your pre-historic heels Grimlock. Once Hot Rod and Blur get back from their store run, I’ll tell you a story that’ll knock your transistors for a loop.
Wheelie: Kup tells the best stories. Hope this one is really gory.


Hot Rod: We’re back. Now the party can start.

Kup: It’ Halloween night, and some of the Autobots have decided to hit the local neighborhoods in search of energon goodies. Three Autobots in particular…


Sunstreaker: We’ve made a fantastic score so far. Only a few more houses to hit and we had back to HQ to kick our wheels up and watch horror movies.
Powerglide: This time I can invite Astoria and give this cheeseburger. She goes nuts for this stuff and it’ll really send her into the stratosphere.


Bluestreak: Which way next?
Sunstreaker: Let’s head this way. There’s a pack of trick or treaters over there. They must have scored big.


Bluestreak: Welcome to the Dark Side Lord Vader. Hey, you look familiar Spider-Man.


Goomba: This night is a drag. Why don’t we head to Stephanie’s party?
Mario: Because her sister is mad at doofus over here.
Koopa Troopa: Let’s go anyway. I’ll give her a hi-five and things will be golden. I’m not missing out on a Halloween bash.


Sunstreaker: Prime?!? You’re out here plying Robin Hood for energon goodies?


Starscream: I’m not Prime you fools! I’m Starscream the merciless!


Bluestreak: Seems like they’ll let any hooligan out at night. Don’t you have Megatron’s boots to grovel at?
Powerglide: So wonder into the wild blue yonder and never come back.
Starcsream: You can tell me how the ground feels when you hit it pipsqueak.


Bluestreak: Whoa, is that the Grim Reaper? Cool costume.


Grim Reaper: In which direction did Optimus Prime travel?
Powerglide: That wasn’t Optimus, that was Starscream.


Grim Reaper: It matters not. Both are required.


Sunstreaker: That felt, creepy.


Bluestreak: Hey, it’s Bumblebee. How’s the goodie collection going?


Bumblebee: It was going great until I hit that old hag’s house.




Bumblebee: I swear she gets meaner each Halloween. All she does is hand out fruit to everybody that knocks on her door. I can’t consume this junk.


Bumblebee: If I were you guys, I’d watch out for her. There’s a rumor going around that she’s a real witch. Anyway, see you guys back at base.






Bluestreak: Well, who’s going to knock on the door?
Powerglide: Why don’t we just ding dong ditch the witch?
Sunstreaker: No way guys. I want to close this night out by hitting every house in the neighborhood. She’ll make good alright. Watch.


Kup: Sunstreaker slowly walked up the steps. As he got closer to the doorbell, he was able to feel the energy starting to flow through his hands. Just he was about to press the doorbell, the door seemed to fly open as the witch seemed to float in front of him.
The Witch: And what do you guys want?
The Group: Trick or treat. Ain’t this neat. We’re the group that can’t be beat. Hold out on goodies if you dare, we’ll just give you one big scare.
The Witch: What are you three supposed to be anyway?


Bluestreak: We’re space aliens…
Powerglide: …from another planet…
Bluestreak: …here to protect Earth’s resources.


Sunstreaker: In order to aid our mission, we require a generous donation of energon goodies to stop the forces of evil.


The Witch: I don’t know what an energon goodie is, but I have something far more delicious to give you.


The Witch: Now leave me be. I hate you Halloween freeloading brats.


Powerglide: Is this some type of joke? Astoria will never fly with me again if I serve her this during a first class flight.
Sunstreaker: Everybody give me your junk. I’ll show her what I think of this treat.


Sunstreaker: Take this you old sea hag! Halloween is for getting goodies, not things out of your decrepit fruit garden.
The Witch: My fruit! How dare you!
Suntreaker: You started it you old bag.


The Witch: I’ve had it up to here with these begging brats. Time to summon my minions to exact my revenge.




The Witch: My puppets, I want you to go after those three that just left and destroy the red one and the grey one.


The Witch: My little one, I want you to bring that yellow one to me. I’ll take his head myself.


Bluestreak: It’s about time we head back. I’m tired of hitting houses. Besides, that witch kind of creeped me out.
Sunstreaker: Okay, okay. I want a few goodies before we walk back. Let’s see what we have here. What’s this…


Kup: As Sunstreaker reached into the bag to grab a goodie, he pulled out more than he bargained for.
Bluestreak: I’m all for getting to the point of things but this is ridiculous.


Kup: At once, the witch’s puppets popped out of all their bags. The puppets, ready to deliver terror upon the three Autobots, begin to…


Grimlock: Me Grimlock say story makes no sense.


Kup: What do you mean the story doesn’t make sense?
Grimlock: Goodies turn into little puppet men? Witch just talked to them. They no can be in two places at once. Give me book.
Kup: What do you need the book for? You can’t even read.


Grimlock: Me Grimlock say only good place for book is in fire.
Arcee: Grimlock!?! Why would you burn the book? Haven’t you heard of Fahrenheit 451?
Grimlock: Arcee silly. Fire much hotter than that.


Grimlock: Me finish rest of story.
Kup: I can’t wait to hear this.


Grimlock: Little puppet men want Autobots heads. They show-offs.


Grimlock: Drill man hate Sunstreaker. Me no like him either. He think he more better than other Autobots. Me root for drill man.


Grimlock: Bluestreak funny. He always tell joke to Dinobots. Sometimes he burn Slag up so me want him to burn.
All: GRIMLOCK!
Grimlock: What? Bluestreak loves to roast Autobots. Me say roast him!


Daniel: They’re Autobots Grimlock. You got to save them. Please!
Grimlock: Ok. Me save yellow braggart.




Sunstreaker: Hey, they’ve got their hooks in me.


Powerglide: Talk about big problems in little packages.
Bluestreak: And to think we left our weapons at headquarters.


Grimlock: But me play Santa Claus and come with gifts.
Powerglide: Where did this come from?
Bluestreak: Who knows? But if you see a giant salad around here, I’ll stick a fork in it.
Powerglide: You need to put a sock in it and get those things off Suntreaker.


Suntreaker: Uh guys. Now’s the time to cut the chatter or I’ll be cut into pieces.


Grimlock: But Bluestreak sticks fork in salad, me mean knife guy.


Powerglide: Hang on, I’ll have this rope cut in the time it takes to say May Day.
Grimlock: Plane stupid. It October.


Sunstreaker: Let’s wrap up these circus freaks and pay that witch a little visit. I don’t like being followed.


The Witch: No! My puppets! What have you done?!?


The Witch: My babies! You brutes! You monsters! I’ll get you for this! I’ll follow to the ends of the Earth to get my revenge!
Sunstreaker: That may be true, but with this potion, I’ll melt you into a puddle of goo.
The Witch: Keep that stuff away from me!


The Witch: I’m melting! I’m melting!
Sunstreaker: Have fun finding a bucket to put yourself in you old hag. Next time make good with the goodies. Come on guys. Let’s go back to base.


Grimlock: THE END!
All: Oh Grimlock!


Grimlock: Everybody critic.
Kup: You remember this the next time you want to hear about petro-rabbits.


Daniel: What now Kup?
Kup: It’s about time we break camp and return to Cybertron. I’m sure Ultra Magnus is going to have a fit that we were gone this long.

Great stuff! You really nailed the “voices” for Powerglide and Grimlock especially and “how do you keep an Arcee in suspense” made me LOL!!
