Here's one of the first chests mods that popped up, you'll get the chest windows closer together and the abs on a nice angle (this is also known as the Chinese mod):

This is as far as I can tell the same mod, just a slight variation, and there are some extra details on this post:

Johnny Gundam's mod/lower chest mod

Here's another one from Johnny Gundam, my personal favorite, and what I actually did to my first BA Prime it not only improves the look of the chest but restores the figure to its original form, but it does involve parts-forming, however, it's definitely worth it!. Here's the link to his YT video (he goes way more in detail into the mod and scale so I highly recommend watching the whole thing):

And here's a variation on that mod that doesn't involve parts-forming, but you have to cut a lot more:

Transformable Upgrade head mod

Here's a mod Savio Prime did to fit the Leafage head so that he can transform with the bigger head, might be possible with the WMW head too, however, due to the complexity of the mod you might want to contact him so that he can mod it for you or guide you through it:

BA prime is the best prime you can buy as far as looks are concerned. Prior to its re release, the older copies were selling for a couple of hundred dollars. I say take the dive and preorder him from ShowZstore for $160

Why is it called BA Prime? -BA is short for "Black Apple" the guy who designed/modified the figure. So it's often called BA Prime because of it, the actual name of the figure is "Commander Thunder Leader".

Who made it? -Wei Jiang and Black Apple collaborated on this project, Black Apple was responsible for doing all the modifications and changes you see on the figure, while Wei Jiang were the ones who mass-produced it.

How big is he? -In Robot Mode he's around 28-29cm depending on how you have the legs. He'll be taller if you get an upgraded head.

Does he have Die Cast? -Yes he does, on the feet, shins, matrix, and on a lot of the inner upper body structure.

What does he scale with? -He's roughly 1:30 scale, so he scales really well with the stock or KO MPM carbots (Bumblebee, Jazz, Barricade, DX9 Hot Rod, NA Soundwave, etc) and the Oversized MPM/SS figures (WJ 07 Megatron, WJ Blackout, BMB Brawl, BMB OS MPM Starscream) for a more detailed breakdown on what this Optimus scales with and the MPM scale as a whole watch this vid: https://youtu.be/4LCPuO_6tlw

How fragile is he? -He's really sturdy, however, there have been some stress marks and breakages on some of the smaller/thinner hinges, just be careful when transforming it and you'll be fine, loosen or tighten any joints that don't feel right and definitely do NOT force things!

What accessories can I use with him? -Besides the specific accessories made for this guy which are stated in the "Upgrades" section below some of the accessories made for the ROTF Leader and the original MPM-04 can fit are compatible with this figure such as: The UFO Trailer, the FWI Jetwing, the hooks for MPM-04, and all of the weapons from the Oversized Evasion Optimus Prime also designed by Black Apple.

I just asked Iacon Store about cancelling my preorder for the BA Prime reissue as I started to seriously lose hope.

Apparently they heard from the supplier last week and it should be shipping end of November/beginning of December.

After having the crappiest few weeks I've had in quite some time, I'm elated to know I wasn't too late and just secured a pre-order with ShowZ... thank you guys for the info and hoping to finally right that wrong from years ago... this is it, my childhood fantasy in plastic form--I can't wait...!
