the port on Gigawatt’s arm is in the spot to look like a watch. I didn’t realize the mr fusion is 5mm. People were just turning it upside down and putting it on the port on his arm.

I don't know anything about BTTF action figures other than the NECA ultimates accessory has a lot of blue on the sticker/paint and says NECA instead of Mattel. What toy did Gigawatt steal that hoverboard from?

One day, we'll get Commander Class 'Watchtower' (apparently his official name) . With a Ghostbusters firestation remold.

 

I think Titan Class would be good for Watchtower in terms of the building scaling to Gigawatt’s (not)DeLorean alt mode.

 

I honestly don't know where it originated from. I bought it at a retro game/comic/toy store. It just came in a small plastic baggy with no marks.

I wonder if Hasbro will ever remold Gigawatt. They did it for Ectotron, so perhaps they could do something for Back to the Future's 40th anniversary. Make him look like that custom shown above, and throw in a hoverboard, while they're at it. Though for robot mode, I'd give him a slightly different headsculpt, and I'd put a clock on his chest, just for that retro look.

 

I've had one in my cart for a while but, I've been holding off because it's not magenta/pink and, I haven't wanted to mess around with trying to paint it.

Thanks, that was enough information to eventually figure out that it was a pack-in with the MattyCollector prop hoverboard if you ordered it within a certain time frame. It's hella cool but, I don't $37+ want it lol. It's too bad that they didn't remold the flip out feet on Gigawatt to have the hoverboard discs on the bottom of them (it would have had to be detail/greeble to avoid balance issues).
