No, I mean literally square. That's what I've been told and you can see on the concept mockup. Looks ugly IMO, but the rest of her is ok.

I don't mind if her legs are looking like this, it makes her look better as a Terrorcon, kinda gives off that "weird and scary alien" vibe rather than a "cute waifu with monster face" vibe. But I do hope that there are more vehicle parts on her other than the chest and shoulders.

 

They both do some great stuff.

 

Mirage and the Terrocons are who I'm most excited to see. I'm anticipating some kind of reveal soon, fingers crossed

 

I was expecting them to use those cardboard head cutouts on polls. Usually those are our only chance to see the characters before reveals. They only used simple metal rods, meaning they won't interract with humans, but rather with eachothers.

I don't think that necessarily means they won't be interacting with humans as they haven't used cardboard cut outs since DOTM. They stopped as it revealed what characters and designs were in the film.

 

The last time they used the cardboard heads was in the AOE filming.

They used ones in TF4 (Hound got revealed that way) and in TLK as well (I remember seeing Bee's and Primes head)

 

Because it'll look like that silly scene on Cybertron in BB film. The scene where autobots were running was a let down. Not realistic.

 

I thought Prime's head for TLK was revealed in some teaser poster promotion very early on and Bumblebee was revealed as a concept art? At least, I don't remember any kind of stick with a head attached during the filming.

None of the Autobots in that scene had digigrade legs though? Also I'm very sorry that the scene set on the planet of robot toys wasn't realistic enough for you.

 

Presumably from the broken logic that allowing the characters to actually resemble their geewun counterparts is less realistic and therefore 'silly' than just making them look more alien and therefore more realistic and other such empty buzzwords that fall apart when you think about it for more than a few seconds.

Unless he's talking about the idea of Prime and his team being at a disadvantage and thus deciding to retreat being 'silly' and in a more realistic film based on alien super robot toys they would've just stood their ground and defeated the non-threat that currently occupies the planet.
