So do we think these are releasing in November or later? BBTS still says November so I’m trying to budget for the month. I only ordered Condor but I’m also beginning to debate canceling.
I done canceled everything but weapons and webgear packs except the waspinator homage that was prepaid. Too many delays and hasbro revealing much better product. I may go back and get raiders depending on the bottom one and steel brigade. But the rest I'll pass.
They're supposed to be on the boat over I think, I highly doubt BBTS would ship in November, maybe if you ordered through the kickstarter, but I still kind of doubt that given shipping issues.
When this line was first announced I was over the moon for a chance to get 6" military figures. I was in for nearly everything on the Kickstarter. Then G.I. Joe Classified launched and I thought that it will be cool to have a separate ops team to pose along side by side of the Joe's. With the new reveals of the upcoming Joe's, I started wondering if the Action Force figures will look good next to the Joe's. The Joe team puts great looking texture on their figures that I'm hoping that the AF figs don't look too plain next to them.
The two things that keep me hanging on to these Action Force products are Sarge and the weapons packs. Their Sarge is the best one out there...at the moment...and their weapons are a great value...IMO. Plus, I do like to explore products from other companies as well.
Sarge does look great, I cannot deny that. And I'm not saying that these figures don't look good, I think they do. I just wonder if they'll look good next to my Classified figures. I'm hoping they will. The weapons packs are also something I'm looking forward to getting. Like you, I also like to check out figures from different companies. I backed the Roboskull KS just for the 6" Marauders figure. I'm not paying for the ship, but I'll check out the figure. I'm also hoping something starts happening with the Mortal Ruin figures. It's been two years or more since those were shown off for the first time and still no KS for them yet. I hope that project (and The Cursed Dead) hasn't been abandoned.
Damn I forgot about Mortal Ruin, I remember seeing those in person at Designer Con 2019 and they were pretty exciting looking, but yeah it's been 2 years! Obviously covid, but still haven't heard a peep about that and Cursed Dead in a long time. I only got a couple of these guys on BBTS, so I'm not too invested. I'll likely keep the POs unless they look really really bad at release.
I'm tempted to do the same for the Wolf Trooper, but Action Force has kind of turned me off of Kickstarters a bit. Any word of it the Maurauders guys are going to continue doing 6" figures or will this be a one and done?
Rumor is that due to production problems (the legs dropdown function was faulty causing breakage of the joints after little use in the samples) and various Chinese festivities influencing the deadline, everything is delayed till March. Yeah, they are probably not even out of the factory yet.
Interesting about the different vendors. I heard that BBTS sometimes get straight deliveries of shipping containers from China, so that's interesting that they're in charge I guess of delivery speed etc. I guess I'll be waiting even longer with my BBTS order haha.
That’s my interpretation from the email today. Valaverse direct will be early December. BBTS will be that or perhaps after the holidays, which I’m actually okay with. I’d rather that money go to other things right now.
I haven't heard anything about Marauders continuing with 6" figures after this Kickstarter. Maybe they are waiting to see what the order quantities for the 6" figs are before they decide whether to stay in the 6" realm or not.
Based on the valaverse facebook group, kickstarter/crowd ox orders should be getting packed up to be shipped to customers today. BBTS and Dorkside orders will follow once the retailers get their shipments. Finally, the long wait is almost over (allegedly )
I hope these live up to the hype…haha. Of all of the Sarge figures out there right now, their’s looks about the best to me.
He's the only one I ordered direct. Also ordered Steel Brigade from BBTS. If these live up to the hype I'll probably grab Pandora from wave 3 as well.
I cancelled all but the wasp raider exclusive since it was only one fully paid. Once I get it if it's solid may go back and try to get a few more like steel brigade and swarm and scarab in series 2. Definitely prefer series 2 sarge.
