I love the design of mmc's first aid! The handful of mmc figures I have are all excellent in quality and the transformations aren't several hours long. They are usually pretty fun to transform, unlike some other 3p bots.

I think the painted windows look just fine and will gladly buy it along with the rest of the set.

This will be my first mmc combiner, although I'm going to be collecting the assaultus regenesis bots too. Idk which will be finished first but I am feeling like a little kid waiting for Christmas as I wait for these sets to start releasing!!

Tough to say. The way Streetwise and Groove are I could see their being different considerations for the kind of connector. Don't know yet.

You certainly wouldn't be able to use them with Assaultus though, of course, since Maximus' feet come from the torso figure.

I really want to see how hot spot fits in size wise. I typically display the teams non combined and am concerned he might be a towering giant.

 

I just wanna say I'm happy there's a nice blank space on his chest for an insignia. Not a raised space, not a recessed space (because neither one is ever the right shape/proportions for a sticker). And no rivets or lumps or grooves either.

Just smooth space for whatever sticker you wanna use. Or none at all. (a raised or recessed "pentagon" space looks odd with nothing there---but looks even worse with a sticker that doesn't fit well)

 

Man, First Aid looks so good. I feel like he's going to end up my favourite of the entire set once we have them all in hand.

 

I'm very excited to have him soon! Hopefully MMC Blades will come next, so that I can first build a Protectobotteam of XTBs Groove and Streetwise and MMC First Aid, Blades and depending on who will release Hot Spot earlier.   Then if all are released I can decide with which set I will go on and which one I will sell. 

 

The irony. Because, as far as I'm concerned, the only "correct" place for First Aid's insignia is in the center of his left shin. Where its not flat, haha.

There's room on either flat surface for one and he did also have one on his chest. At least the toy did.

 

Lol, yes, I was being a little facetious. There's definitely enough room on the leg for a faction symbol, just not as perfect as on the chest. And yep, I know the toy had one on the chest. But I prefer cartoon accuracy first, especially in a figure like this, which is definitely going for that look, and on the cartoon, he did not have one on his chest.

 

I was all in on XTB'S and got their streetwise, but after seeing these I decided to go mmc. I'd love to have both, maybe after all XTB'S are released if there aren't any glaring qc issues I'll pick it up. But can't go wrong with mmc!

I'm totally in on this, but, the mismatched windows are really dong my head in.

I can't help but feel they'd just look better if they were all painted the same.

 

It's been pointed out before that ambulances of this type had blinds to cover the rear windows, and it winds up looking pretty similar.
