Wouldn't hold my breath. No reason for it with this on the horizon.

Looks leagues better than the mp and the articulation is pretty damn impressive. Though the eyes look weird to me. Can't quite pinpoint what it is, but it reminds me of alot of Jansen, and ironically Tesla 1.0

To be fair I think this sums it up for me. Looks like perceptor next then this. I won't get rid of 22 as I bought it on holiday in Japan and it just has that memory tie to it. Will go in alt mode, like you say, MP22 had such an awesome transformation

Weird eyes. Buttflap looks like underwear, and the thighs look strangely close together compared to mp44 next to him. Otherwise okay, nice that he doesn’t have a cab hanging off his back but I’m not sure what that is they chose to replace it with.

Geez. I’ve never had a problem with MP Magnus like others did, but this looks objectively much better. Pretty remarkable… and tempting.

TBH, if now you take a look at all those shots from the show, you'd start to feel that mp22 is the true cosplayer.
Well, here comes another instant fix to the eye!

(THF 4 Hyper Mag) MP22 v BPF OSKO Siege UM - I did this a couple of months ago for a thread where someone was after comparative scales/bot heights

However long it takes to bring out Big Poppa here is worth it all.

Once again 3P making better looking toys than official products. This is a great looking Ultra Magnus for those who prefer the cartoon design. I have MP-22 and I like it even with its design flaws. However, it doesn't stand up to what X Transbots has presented. I'm looking forward to seeing this in hand.

    Same!
I have Delta Magnus and love it to pieces. I might just get this because it seems so impressive from an engineering point. Being able to get such a big, blocky truck into that clean and lean a robot is damn impressive. Hopefully it's not a nightmare to transform though.

Wonder if we will see a pre-order this week or even today. They are soliciting so much stuff way in advance.

It looks good now, until the crippling QC flaws and shortcuts to get the price down rear their heads.

I just cant unsee it. To me the mp22 looks like a ko os of a hasbro chug magnus. It is closer to that design philosophy imo. Mp10 was done better. Mp44 is miles ahead. Every 3p mp blows mp22 away.

This xtb version is what an mp magnus should have been.

This looks quite good! The eyes seem off and I don't trust XTB as far as I can throw them but I'll be keeping an eye on this!

What do we think the price will be? $200 seems high but everything is priced high now so maybe...

I wanna make a joke about not seeing pix of the white Optimus robot mode, but I don’t want it to start a thread war, so I won’t make it.

MP 22 was released in 2014., which is 100 years ago when it comes to advancements in toy design/engineering.

Is anyone really that surprised that this looks better? lol

Do you seriously expect toys made 7 years ago to hold a candle against toys made now? Official or otherwise? Are you being serious here or just shitting on things to shit on things?

It's front paged, so they've had to link up the thread to it. You're tfw2005-famous now :lol
