Does he have an actual robot mode or is he just the center piece?

 

So uhm… demolishor’s toy can defy physics. I don’t know how he’s staying standing (and moved the candle to show that wasn’t it), but he’s angle standing like Brooke on One Piece

 

Just the core, couldn't manage a robot mode without compromising combined mode.

What are people's thoughts on Energon Omega Supreme? I don't own it but I think he looks pretty good.

I have an opportunity to get him. Is he an upsized Energon Optimus Prime mold?

 

Not in the slightest, how did you come to that conclusion

 

Hehe sorry, just looking at his limbs and feet, he looks a little like Energon OP in Super mode so I thought I'd find out if that was the case.

Ah, I get it now. You're looking at the remold Omega Supreme, my bad, that one isn't a headmaster anymore. This is Energon Omega Supreme. This is the re-release remold Omega Supreme. And, no, it is not an upscale of Optimus. In fact, Optimus Prime can combine with it. There are actually three versions of the figure. (Not counting the Japanese version.) The remake is more 'G1' accurate, with remolding to make it look more like the original figure, but it loses the Headmaster Gimmick. All three are great, if you can afford them. Omega Sentinel is usually the most pricey these days.

 

Thankyou, I've actually decided to acquire two other targets instead at this point. Picking up Cybertron Evac and Energon Snowcat. Both have been on my radar longer than Omega and both come in pristine condition whereas the Omega figure had a piece missing.

 

It's great to see Landmine in the new IDW comics.

 

Snagged a couple more Star Saber protos I think you guys will appreciate! Same pre-tooling as the prior ones I picked up just different colours. I think this lends credence to them being testers for the clear plastic as I now have 2/3 in orange, 1 in yellow, 1 in purple and 1 in blue.

 

Massive, massive combiner. As much mass as three 2021 leader class toys.

 

I got him one Christmas as a kid and he was awesome. The biggest Transformer I’d ever had. Awesome looking robot, and loved his spaceship alternate mode.

So will always be one of my favourites.

I dont mind toys shrinking, or weighing less, its the increasing cost.. for less that bugs me.

The biggest ripp off of the year for me was Commander Rodimus, small, light weight - even at sale price not a good deal. Total rip off at full price.

In contrast Commander jetfire at sale or full price to me was a fair deal and I love it.
but now the SG version is coming, and its almost double the price of the previous ones in a new color. (at least here).
