Anyway, so glad I outsmarted the system and spent $50 in order to save that $2.

 

It could take that long to produce anyway start the preorders when in production phase or even sooner to guage interest

 

Unless, you know, you live outside the USA in which products from Hasbro Pulse become unnecessarily expensive.

Don’t worry this is just a regular Slects release and not a Pulse exclusive. It definitely sucks that Pulse is in a very limited amount of countries right now but that is one of the downsides of being a fan of anything that doesn’t originate in your home country. For example, I am a huge Doctor Who fan and a region 1 dvd of my favorite story goes for $300 normally while the region 2 dvd goes for $15. Always got to find the loopholes.

 

And they said premium isn’t worth it

 

At least in my case shipping costs at Hasbro pulse suck. With BBTS I can wait for a couple of items in my POL and while shipping is still expensive it’s a softer blow.

 

It's funny how people justify Pulse's $50 by saying it pays for itself on shipping. If they kept items in stock more than 5 minutes, it would be unnecessary, since $50+ is free shipping anyway. But it doesn't work when you have to check out the second something becomes available, rather than being able to wait until there is $50+ worth of stuff you want available.

 

Unless you know, you buy a few items under 50 at a time and the prices bump up ten dollar more due to shipping and taxes.

 

I don’t live in the US so there’s no free shipping for me. That would be the only reason to get it imo (early release + free shipping is a no brainer) but I’m not paying like $20-30 of shipping every order.

 

It's worth it for Walmart exclusives alone....if they offer them. And will be next year 100%

I have the Botcon 2015 piece but I missed out on getting his TransTech partner Cline.

Would be good if this new one comes with that Transtech figure.

Well, when you have to work past 5pm and the figure is sold out at Pulse, it doesn't leave much of a choice. I wanted this figure, so I was willing to pay a little more for it.  

 

I have a dream I often dream, wherein the Hoist mold has foldable fists in his forearms for truck mode....its such a happy comfortable non OCD activating dream, where theres a place for each part and a part in each place...........
Then I wake up, look at my shelf and see those fists hanging out from under the truck like a pair of angry tescticles and I remember how cold and harsh the real world can be.

.........sooooo I guess thats my overly dramatic exposition explaining why I will not be getting another Hoist repaint......... no matter how bright, shiny and cool it looks.
Take that Hasbro!
