Yeah, I'm going on a month now....but I also know what's going on with the world right now, so I'm not really going to complain.
That said, if I could source some stuff from the US, I might do that first.

Any advice on getting the new upgraded articulated hands to snap into the gray housing piece on Studio Series Grimlock?

I can slide it in until it feels snug, but there is no CLICK and they come out when you rotate them. :/

    Ebay:
Galvatron kit came in. Feet are nice but sadly you need to remove them to fully put the heels back in if you want.
Chain is really good, better than Nonnef's in look and feel and also can still plug into his chest in cannon mode.
Gun is a fucking joke. Both Nonnef's and MW's guns are better. Just immediately threw it in the parts bin.
Spire looks nice for those who prefer that look. Quality is a little off if you look in close but for a shelf display it's good.

Some of them have the wrong type mushroom peg. No reasonable fix available.

I have warned people before about wasting my money on those crappy hands.

Hey, anyone know of any upgrade/option kit hands that have 5mm pegs sticking out of the wrists? (I've seen some on Shapeways, but that option is always so darn expensive!) The hands don't need to be huge or posable, they just can just have 5mm ports for holding weapons and such.

Nonnef has some nice hands on his site for Ratchet & Ironhide, but they're only in red and they don't have 5mm pegs for the wrists...

Technically, yes, but the sellers don't know or test them to see if they actually work.

So there ARE other versions that exist from this company where they WILL snap in?

I am kinda leaning towards not using them honestly; I want Slag and the others to match....and I'm not so sure I am in total love with these anyway.

I think I'm gonna pick up this new Go Better set for Red Alert. I am still going to use the JRC set for the spoilers, because I prefer how they fold down, but I want all the little extra filler bits in this set (especially the ones for the underside of the car that is next to the knees, those little gaps bug me). Hopefully they'll be doing a version of the set for Sideswipe as well.

So far, we've just seen the Grimlock ones getting messed up since they were the first ones to use the repurposed hands. The first batch had no peg adapters and the wrong mushroom pegs. There are some out there with the correct ones, but it's a crapshoot unless the seller looks carefully.

One of incorrect versions has the circular part too small with a locking tab sticking out from it. That's to prevent the hand from rotating past a certain point...which has no purpose on SS86 Grimlock.

The correct ones will have a fully circular part at the correct size and with no tabs sticking out.

Got some goodies from @wheeljackfan16 today, 2x of the Shadow Panther/Ravage gap fillers, the Jazz forearm fillers, Origin Bumblebee forearm fillers, BW Skywarp swords and 2x of the Impactor harpoon. All of them are excellent! The Shadow Panther/Ravage fillers are a bit hard to get into some of the gaps, but once in they really solidify the figure.

Anyone think it possible to get new hands for the Ark or new articulated legs for Waspinator?

Maybe, The Ark is absurdly easy to strip down and put back together and I can't say that I've ever seen nor heard anyone praise the factory hands.. I would be amazed if DNA doesn't do a kit that has replacement hands.

The wasp legs on the robot legs just peg in via a mushroom peg. I don't know if I would trust a 3D print for that but someone that does injection molding might look into a replacement set that has legs small in diameter/circumference since that is a common complaint. I'm not sure if anyone would tackle articulation on them though.

The wasp legs on the forearms are pinned in via a flat pin so they can't be easily removed. Easily swapping those would require new arms from the biceps' mushroom peg socket all the way down to the hand. I can' see anyone taking that on because the risk to reward ratio has far too much risk but, stranger things have happened.

No, I mean having Rodimus hold on to his colleagues' stuff, too. My Rodimus trailer also stores four of the Nonnef legends weapons, Kup's Energon goodies, and Hot Rod's stock accessories. Not sure the trailer could hang on to much more, at least not neatly. I've tried.
