It is all good. Figure if I am supposed to have this in my collection then I will find it sooner or later. It isn't really a MUST have type item anyway for me.
I have the opposite predicament lol. Freddy and Jason are still available for retail; Michael being unavailable has been a major speedbump. If I can get a comparable version, then the other two guys are viable options.
Checking in way late and noticed that Conan listing. Oh well. I’m holding hope since he wasn’t a Mezco exclusive he might get a PX release like Hellboy with more stuff like a helmet. No interest in Michael Meyers but great for Halloween week. I absolutely love horror films and that series but I feel the ship has long sailed on me getting any related figures. I was wondering with the big Pulse Con weekend and the Joe brand slaying it if Firefly was going to drop. With their 4 a year schedule we’re going into Nov and the next should have been revealed in Dec. Something must have slipped up to cause back up but trust me, I’m not complaining.
Tbh, it's probably the big shipping logjam that's holding everything else up. On an unrelated note, did we ever find out what the "unreleased figure" prize from the contest a month ago was?
Did anybody with the death skulls death brigade move from processing to shipped? I had my pre-order secured to my credit card and since that time, their system hasn’t really liked the card and all subsequent orders used paypal. Just wanted to see if everybody was stalled out or if I need to contact them. Thanks
I paid in fill by PP on the Black Skulls, not moved @WeVoCoN as it's still "processing". My copy of Casino Roach has a deposit on with nothing else. Nemo paid up front and nothing yet. I posted the notice that Mezco gave a few pages back, and it's got to be the blacklog of stuff at the ports.
Speaking of BBTS, my Conan pre-order (original price, not that ridiculous $200 one @IronMonger986 posted) processed and is ready to head out. Wish it was either a month earlier or a month later since I made this preorder way, way back, I didn't think I'd be doing a property tax payment on the same month, but I can cover everything, so looks like I'm getting my first Mezco figure.
Ditto this. I reached out to customer service and asked if "processing" referred to my payment or shipping prep. I actually feel a little bad, because I specifically told them if it was shipping to disregard my message because I understood things are extra slow between the ports and FedEx trouble. Basically I didn't want them to take it as me jogging their elbow. But... the squeaky wheel got the grease it wasn't trying to get and i got a shipping notice the same day.
@Legate - I have a feeling that the shipping notice for those that have the Black Skulls on processing should get the shipping notice within a few days. Hopefully that Casino Roach and Nemo will follow right behind.
@borgified I already got my shipping notice on the Skulls. That's why I was saying I kinda felt bad, cause I wasn't trying to get them to hurry up but that's apparently how they took my email. Edit: my Black Skulls arrived today. Brings me to a total of five. I don't know what it is about these guys, but I can't get enough of 'em. Doing minor customization(just accessory and part swapping) to make one a Black Skull Commander.
If anyone here has a lead on a Conan I would appreciate it. Preorder or in person at a local comic/toy shop. Trying to track one down now seems impossible. I’m checking sites daily.
Wow! In the one discord I’m in that usually discusses pretty much just Joe leaks, there’s been a rumour that popped up about Conan getting a deluxe Mezco exclusive “MDX” version coming soon. Fingers and toes crossed for this.
Where does a rumor like that come from? Blind hope of another shot at Conan? "wouldnt it be cool..." turns into "we're getting a MDX!"?
Supposed leak I hope there is an MDX, I was counting on my LCS, but then they went and put their stock out at 350, so fuck that Hopefully I’ll get lucky or something
