    The most important parts:

The Netflix show actually made people go out and buy stuff? Really? It was an awful show! (The toys are great, though!) I'd love to see the Transformers: Metrobase, that sounds insane!

Glad to hear that Christmas is taken care of. Air-freight ain't cheap, so I at least commend them for taking the extra step in a very difficult situation. That said...carefully read between the lines on that line about the price increase. There won't be another one in 2021? Well of course not, because the year's almost over. 2022, on the other hand? Don't be surprised if they pump the prices up again to offset these costs. I think the days of $25.00 Deluxes are coming sooner than we thought. I wouldn't be surprised if everything jumps up $5.00 across the board. I mean, the money *does* have to come from somewhere, so I'm not trying to vilify them, but I do believe 2022 could be an oucher for a lot of our wallets.

1-4 confirm the idea of future higher prices, just how much higher we don't know. Guess 2022 and 2023 will be a make-or-break period for a lot of us collectors.

Then again, there might not be a price hike at all, and nothing may happen. (One can hope, right?)

I forgot about the animated series. Netflix is a given, but I wonder what the Nickelodeon show will be like... I certainly hope eOne is working on more content, they are Hasbro's underlings. lol (a bit of a joke, I know they're going to do their job. I just hope it's quality over quantity is all.)

Well, I\'m liking the way this is going. Hopefully that revenue goes into the products, and we see stocked shelves. Coming up on November, and I still haven\'t seen one Kingdom Galvatron...

Hahaha. Was thinking the same thing.

Which is why it's smart that they're diversifying in generations.
Fans will be forced to economize anyway.
By appealing to more generations, fans becoming more picky in what they buy will hurt less because there will be more people buying.

They're seriously trying to say one had to do with the other?! Nobody watched Kingdom, didn't even trend as far as I remember, & they're saying it was still a successful commercial. Why are they justifying it? The toys were selling just fine without the shows...hell Siege wasn't even on shelves anymore when it's chapter finally hit

He is, they have a interim CEO. They're planning to name a permanent one today.

Well we all knew a price increase was coming but the rumor was it was happening in December. I guess I should prepare for $25 deluxes next year. Get your pre-orders in now before the price increase.

Funnily enough, my friend got into TFs because of the Netflix show. He never had a TF toy in his life and now he owns almost all of the WFC trilogy (the ones that appeared in the show).

Another price increase will have me go from buying everything in the line, to just whatever G1 or BW character comes out that I need.

Maybe that would be for the best. :lol

Looks like in-house brands are up 9% while partners are down a whopping 10%. I wonder which license is the big drag. Marvel has had some clearances, Ghostbusters has been slow, Disney and Star Wars have enjoyed some clearances on ancillary products

If I were to take a guess, maybe Star Wars. I heard sales haven't been doing well the past couple of years.

The conferece specifically stated that Marvel and Ghostbusters increased, so Star Wars might indeed be the culprit.

Star Wars is my other collecting jam, the main lines (3.75" and 6") are nearly always sold out on shelves over the last year, but Hasbro pumps out so much ancillary stuff like a new kiddie line every few years that's incompatible with all other lines, and sad "Baby Yoda's the hottest thing" junk that all sits at clearance, it really drags the brand down to the gutter.

Thanks for that info, that's really bad news. I'd assume SW and Disney Frozen 2 combined as I see a lot of the latter while digging through clearance crap.

Awful Netflix shows or not (I\'m indifferent to it), they\'re more exposure to the wide public for the franchise and does help the marketing effort for the toys.  I still feel the last show Hasbro had put any narrative and creative heart & souls into was TF:p rime, new RID & Cyberverse are silly fun for the kids and their toys were therefore aimed for kids, which is fine by me as that makes my gifting decisions easy for the litlle ones. However Netflix shows (CW, TR, WFC) are ALL marketing campaigns and the poor result (from a TV critics POV) shows. I\'m not angry though, as I know their place as I adjusted expectations.

I\'m just glad the whole WFC toy lines has been incredible overall.  Personally, there\'s still a handful of missing \"appeared on screen\" characters I want to get (can\'t afford the Titans, but oh well) for my G1 collection. I came back to collect TF after I was floored by the engineering of the movie\'s Leader class ROTF OP when a friend\'s kid asked me to help him transform the figure), so I missed a lot of the early CHUG figures, so I hope Hasbo will revisit those early CHUG characters but newly \"G1-ified\" as per the Legacy line PR in the next 3 years that haven\'t reappeared in WFC. I\'m not looking to complete any post G1 lines, so future price increases aren\'t too big an isssue for me as I will just pick up figures that are great in design, engineering and (to me) justify the price.  Right now, the only size/price class that\'s not \"overpriced\" is the Voyager class for me here in Canada anyway...  so feeling kind of ripped off is nothing new.
