This is not the Transformers Set. This is just a normal action figurea set. The Transformers set doesn not come with any mini figure neither.

At least the Mattel (?) offer is a nice set at a decent price. I was thinking of getting a JP/Tyrannicon Set. However, at 140 euros, I think I'll pass. Apart from the lack of paint applications, I really like the two. I really can't understand the criticism when it comes to JP's headsculpt. Together with Ectotron and Gigawatt, you have the Autobot advanced science devision assembled. Would be a nice set to display. Maybe we'll see KITT someqhere down the road.

 

KITT & KARR are on my "most desired" list, as well as a modified mp10 Goliath and a movie-optimus leader class FLAG Moblie Unit.

Huh. After seeing what Mattel did, I have to give Hasbro credit for nailing it as well plus making it transformable. Good on 'em both, those are impressively detailed toys.

 

Think I've finally settled on names for these 2 since I can't stand their official ones. Saw Tryannica being thrown around for Tryannocon Rex and I really like that one and I'm gonna call JP93 Tracer.

 

JP93 can be Warden, like game warden, but also a reference to former Transformers senior design manager John Warden.

Tyrannocon can just be Rexy, the unofficial nickname for that particular dinosaur. (I believe her actual name is Roberta)

 

Dude I actually want that just for the car lol

 

What are the chances of this actually coming out next week? Has it been found in asia yet?

 

NOOO!!!!! Amazon just pushed back the street date from Nov.1 to Dec. 15.


My order still states an arrival of Nov. 3, but I will not be the least surprised if Amazon sends an email notice that the arrival date will be in December. At least this is still before Christmas, so I have my fingers crossed that if delayed, this set will still arrive before the end of the year.

 

Well shit i was eyeing something last night but didnt get it because i was expecting this to ship out next week and i now i missed out on that and might have to wait till december for this

 

I am concerned that Amazon will do one of two things with the new street date, on Nov. 1 or Nov. 3 either Amazon will email customers that they will push back their orders of the TF-JP 2-pack, or the orders will be cancelled and collectors will have to reorder them.

 

I just placed a pre-order, and despite the main page saying December, the pre-order is still giving me a November shipping date.
