Looks like I’m gonna have quite a few packages coming now. Got this guy, OV-01 Sentinel Prime, JH-01L Dotm Ratchet and BS-01 Dotm Dino on the way. My local delivery man is gonna hate me after the next few weeks lol

 

Beautiful piece. Plastic quality is okay, but feels a little light. The shoulder joints are the most worrisome, as the entire arm is connected on one little joint that I could see becoming a problem. The articulation is pretty great as you can get things out of the way, but my left lower elbow joint is quite loose. Overall I’m mixed on this guy. He looks amazing but I do wish it felt better, especially those arms, which I’m just constantly worried about because of the type of joint they decided to use.

Finally received mine and while I'm happy with it, there are some quirks.
Honestly, I'm happy with it because I want a SS for my Threezero display. It looks great and scale fits, so there's that. However, when comparing side-by-side with threezero blitzwing, there are 2 major flaws on SS that sets them apart (even tho it transforms); thats weight (lack of die-cast) and GAPS (Holy batman there's gaps).
I never knew what to look for specifically with gaps, but SS will show u.
All in all, I'm happy with it cuz my pants have been wet for its release since last June. But if I had to spend $100+ over msrp, I probably wouldn't.

Quality of plastic feels like its there. Joints aren't too bad for the price. Articulation is great. Lots of presence. QC looks superb. Haven't, and prob won't transform as I don't care for this particular alt mode. Die-cast in the feet would have been golden.

Just a quick thought after having this guy for the past 12hrs

 

So nobody has been able to plug in the arm cannon into the nose of the alt mode, without it being droopy or skew-whiff. Bit crap.

 

I like the use of diecast for the joints.

 

While I really doesn't care for Bayverse stuff, I can’t deny how awesome Star Storm is. This figure was never on my radar, and next thing I know it arrived via ShowZ yesterday. Love the ThreeZero/ThreeA look of it.
