which one do you guys prefer to have in your collection when it comes to the unicron figures from armada or energon? Just curious to see how everyone votes

 

As a representation of the character, Armada Unicron; as a TF, I really prefer the Energon version, so black, so cool!

 

Energon Unicron all the way down. I really prefers his dark look, he looks really bad. My wiefe never liked the Armada Unicron, she said he looks more lika a candy with those colors.

Fortunately, I am also not so a G1 nostalgia fan.

 

I only got the Armada one, didn't dig the silly energon parts on the black one.

 

Same here, I like the Armada one for G1 likeness, but the Energon black version looks much better, the black makes him seem more "evil" to me, and I think the overall color scheme works better.

 

I go for the Armada, the only one I have. Pretty much for the obvious reason that it's the closest thing we're getting to an '86 Unicron - it's not exact, but it's a pretty good homage. The Energon version looks pretty good, but doesn't work for me.

 

Armada- one of the character's more unique characteristics is his golden form.

 

I got them both. I initially passed on the Armada for the Energon Unicron. But I ended up picking up a Armada Unicron for the G1 likeness. I normally hate the idea of same character repaints, but this is one of the few times I'm glad they did it.

 

only have the armada version, and just like what the others have said, its the closest as far as the animated movie goes. if in the future i have extra $$$, i'll pick up the energon version, but for now, im happy with my armada unicron.

 

Energon Unicron is by far the superior paint scheme! I have both but Armada Unicron is just for my display with Primus. Energon Unicron will tower over all my Nemesis Prime type repaints.

 

I like G1 nostalgia look so Armada and Primus on my shelf look Grand Together.

 

I definitely prefer the Armada version of Unicron. It's the only one I own. The black repaint is interesting, but I'm more into the G1 look.

 

I guess I prefer the Armada one... but the black version does look really nice. A part of me kinda wishes they would have another go at it and repaint him a third time for Universe/Classics, in an attempt to refine the orange and gray G1 color scheme on him (try for sort of a definitive paintjob for the mold).

 

Energon for badass colors, but Armada for geewun.

 

My vote goes toward Armada Unicron.

The Armada one, but I still want a new mold that's at the same level as Primus in terms of design, detail, roundness, not being covered in translucent plastic...

I piad alot for him but it was worth it.

 

yeah i thought we really got gyp'd with him being 3 quarter of a globe.
