Going to watch the 2nd series of Gone Fishing during today then series 3 after the football tomorrow evening as I suspect I'll need a laugh after watching United get stuffed by Liverpool. Such a funny series even though the fishing element would be off putting to many.

Decent idea! I recently saw a gigantic 3D printed Jabba's Palace playset in 3.75" scale that incorporated a Rancor pit with the gate so just having the gate might work for the larger scale.

To go very Hot Take/Tinfoil Hat this is almost exactly the kind of sabotage a Pinkerton-style agent of capital might set-up as part of wide-ranging co-ordinated strikebreaking scheme to discredit the IATSE union. The use of the walk out as contextualisation that infers a "Bad Set" whilst forefronting Baldwin's role as producer as well does read like a subtle accusation, out the side of the mouth whilst ducking out of a straight out accusation that could get one in the dock, a well dodgy journalistic move in my book. One would hope not but making a noted liberal figure of an actor with a known temper the patsy, man, that really stretches "it just so happens" though these things do sometimes just so happen.

Kingdom Waspinator is cool. I prefer his colouring to the previous Generations guy, but I can't really say which is the better toy. His a bit more fiddly and a little less sturdy than T30, and his beast leg arrangement is more prone to interfering with poses. That said he has more articulation (The waist and ankle tilts add a lot) and you can raise the wings up. I would argue also argue he has a better wasp mode. But as said T30 has a more solid feel to him. The wing flap gimmick isn't needed but a cool feature. Plus he's more screen accurate in beast mode.

Made me wonder if this Prime will be compatible with the Earthrise trailer? I don’t see why not since the legs are reused but it’d be cool to see.

Had some kids round last night which i was entertaining (turns out kids like me and I'm not that bad with them. Huh. That is a surprise.) So missed all the streams. Sounds like i missed buggery all. The reveals... they look nice, but all just get a meh reaction from me. I don't think I'm even gonna bother with the inevitable nemmy prime (siege legs again? Really?)

Thought I'd missed out on ravage but nope, he's not only sitting there in stock but also has paypal, so i was actually able to give them money this time. It's a little pricey but convention exclusive and he has that sweet diorama of his cruiser cockpit which he will be in. I do like how the g1 ravage can fit in the open tape deck. That will look awesome.

Someone poke me when we get ss bayverse or bw reveals. Other than figuring out who to use for deluxe insecticon customs, a potp grimmy for dinoking and maybe making a custom cw monstructor, i think I'm finished with the g1 classics guys now.

 

Those wings will look better on the 3 molds they are pretools of Barrage, Venom and Ransack who had more realistic wings than the future robo styling of Takara's original trio.

 

I'm not a GI Joe collector, but that HasLab Skystriker looks superb.

 

Do you not think it was a "Bad set"? The workers were treated awfully and talked about voting for a strike which Baldwin dared/encouraged them to (depending on how you look at it) and when the camera crew attempted to leave, the production company called security on them and then hired non union workers. This is the first time in 128 years that IATSE went on strike because the conditions were so terrible.

There had been multiple issues with the armourer including at least one firearm accidentally discharging a live round in a cabin before the fatal shooting. Baldwin's El Dorado company is one of the six that make up Rust Movie Productions LLC and the production company are in charge of hiring - they hired the armourer and should have fired her, but didn't. The production company are responsible for what happens while shooting so they are accountable for the treatment of the workers and why an inexperienced armourer was hired and then not fired after the numerous incidents.

Baldwin is absolutely innocent in terms of the actual shooting and it's a horrible thing for him to live with. However, the production company needs to be held responsible along with all the producers who were on location, irrespective of their politics. A woman died in an accident that had already happened once before on the set - that's not a conspiracy to set someone up, that's negligence.

 

Absolute gross criminal negligence.
