iirc the feet will be included in the boxes of the future main limbs. But if cang toys is gonna increase the cost of future main limbs to compensate for the extra plastic from transforming feet, I'm out.

I don't need wolves as feet that would increase the cost, hinder stability and posability. Remember, crab hands took away wrist tilting. Waste of time if transforming feet aren't going to give us more than just statue pose. Just give us parts forming feet that offer better stability at that point.

 

As much as I enjoy where this set is going, I am very worried about posability of this combined mode with all this extra bits.

Agreed. I was very excited for the whole 6th member thing, but instead of making him giant to increase the lower proportions the thighs are way too stocky for any reasonable amount of knee bend.
The transforming feet thing is a cool idea (predicting where this combiner will go has been fun actually) and there looks to be an ankle rocker built in but there's going to be a LOT of weight bearing down in them.

The crab was a neat little gimmick, no real extra cost added. As cool as more members is, the wolf looks like its going to push the cost up $40...pushing 2 members from $130 to $170.

 

At first I thought, that's a weird looking rhino. But then I remembered the wolf, and yes he looks great!

 

That’s a pretty lame foot…. Not to mention the front of the foot relies on the figures arm joints…. Not a good sign of stability.

 

Are we completely sure that's the front? Seems even despite the G1 departure, there'd still be cannons sticking out the front?

 

After looking @ it again it does look like his foot. Predaking has always been known for his 2 toes/Cannon feet and I guess where it's yellow those are the cannons. The red circles are his toes and green is his combiner peg I believe. Also looks like it will have individual toe articulation.

 

Well M. Cang Toys I'm feared that for the first time I won't defend your choices.
Your mission was to do a feet, and optionaly to do something else with it, as you did with hands. Hands you did are very nice, very agressive with those spikes on them (like on the G1 model), and transform them to a crab was a funny option but it was an option. If your hands couldn't have the possibility to transform in anything, nobody wouldn't care about that.

When I see this foot I think that your first choice was to do a wolf (and it's nice) and optionaly this can do a feet. But no, to do a feet was not an option it was your first (and maybe only) target. One of the Predaking signature are the two big canons on a foot plate and I don't see that at all. To be honest I don't see anything in your "feet" maybe a tank as said in a previous post. I transformed my Tantrum (Landbull) and put him on your foot picture and it's bad, really bad.

I'm sad to think that I'll have to pay $50 more in a future upgrade kit for those foot plates just because you didn't remember that your only goal was to do a feet (stylized of course but a feet).

This Predaking was never intended to be G1 Predaking, wait for Zeta's version if you want the goofy toe cannon look.

I dunno man... I'm getting really concerned about the stability of this thing.
The wolf is cool and all... The foot itself looks odd... Not that I'm a fan of g1 Ninja turtle cannon toes...
It would be really cool if this were an optional set, and the other figures included more standard foot options.
Though that seems unlikely, given this figure has parts of the combiner sword

Zeta, FT, XTB, MMC I don't fucking care, somebody just make a goddamn MP scale Predacons team I can buy. I swear to christ if any half-reputable company so much as shows a goddamn silhouette of Predaking during the 3P panel I'm selling these three fuckers so fast the boxes will have burn marks from the vapor trail.

 

Never asked for a G1 Predaking I already have one since 1986 and happy with him. But Cang toys' Predaking had a lot of signature points which define Predaking :
- Color sheme (orange / red /gold / black)
- Big wings on back
- Hands with spikes
- All animal heads seen on the combiner, especially lion's head on torso.
- Two big canons on each side of the head.
- Big canon on arm and sword
- And two canons foot plate, but it's now missing.

Cang Toys' Predaking is not a G1 Predaking, but a G1 inspired Predaking. And all of those who are saying for hundred of pages that's not a Predaking because of 6th member or what else are blinds. I'm just worried about those feet.

 

It being stylized doesn’t suddenly render this a good design decision. They’re right, it’s main priority was being a solid foot that happens to turn into something else, not a wolf that happens to turn into a foot.

 

Nope, CangToys is more related to TFC, they share designers.

I am glad that they are ditching the silly stuff and keeping the cool things Predaking has.
