I want a Liokaiser, but at this point, I'm unsure if this is the one I want.

That said, so far, it's still the only real option.

Same here, I mostly just want Leozack really. However, the TFC Poseidon/Piranhacon set just went up for PO on BBTS today. Maybe a sign of things to come?

Yeah, this is a bit too old for me, but I’d love someone to make a new LioKaiser.

    I hope so!

I had been holding off on buying the TFC Poseidon set from TF Safari then it sold out and I made a knee-jerk purchase for the last one on TF Source. Now it's on BBTS for $40 less than I paid TF Source...

Or it might still be available on RoboToyBase, but the shipping cost is what drove me to TF Source, for a better price. (That feels wrong, saying TF Source has a better price than someone else...And I want my Ark that I pre-ordered there in April!)

Hi, what are the things I need to watch out for when I buy a used TFC Hydes from someone?

I hope it will not be as terrible as TFC Trinity Force.

I'm not sure if there are any super common issues, but on mine one of the little pegs that connects the crotch bot to Liokaiser snapped. It's a secondary attachment though, and not necessary at all.

Other than that, the leg connections are just wobbly, but that's a design flaw.

    The little pegs on Cerberus/Jallguar?

That is common, Emgo mentioned not in his review.

The holes on Leozack are quite tight. Mine got stress marks first time I disconnected them.

I took a knife and very gently wide the holes for Leozack (although I very rarely uncombine a group once I have them together).

Yeah, that's the ones. For combined mode, I think I actually removed those entire pieces, since they did something weird to the silhouette.

I can't remember exactly though, I haven't had him on display for a while.

Oh, another thing to look at is how well the screw covers were installed, again particularly on Liozack.

Hmm, I had to shave down the covers you install on Guyhawk.

Never noticed any pre-installed ones on Leozack.

Sorry, I meant if you're buying a used copy, to check how well they were installed by the previous owner. I know I had a hard time getting them in straight & flush and had to shave a bit.

I'm pretty sure it was on Leozack, again I can't remember 100% since it has been a while.

Guyhawk is the red arm. Leozack is the upper torso.

If Leozack had any, they either stayed on or are long gone.

Found a one still holding fine on Leozack's nosecone. Not pulling him and Jallguar apart to look for more.

I was in your same situation...in the end I decided against buying the set even at a cheap price because I was afraid it would gave given me more frustration than satisfaction. Did I made the right choice? Maybe I'll never know...

I still really love this set. I got some of the various upgrades for the combination and they work well. He doesn't get moved much, but he's centerpieced on one of my shelves opposite Victory Sabre (MP Star Sabre, KFC Victory Leo).

I just know/remember for this, Dinoking, and Road Ceasars, the timing never worked out just right.
