I’ve still got device label Blaster, who to be fair is pretty cool, just doesn’t fit with anything else aesthetically.

Bluestreak does seem like he should be announced soon given he’s already been nicked out of a factory.

It might be better for that mold, but I don't really have any interest in Machine Wars Optimus. I've already got enough Optimi lying around.

Ooh, that is tempting. Never ordered off TF Direct before. Am I going to get a nasty Brexit related fee?

Were only going to get wave 1 Legacy reveals.

And maybe a tease for the Titan. This year will be the year the tease is too obscure for anybody to guess what the Titan will be........

Upcoming Lego set is labled as the Riddler so I think its just speculation. Lego don't get it wrong due to the licensing tie ins. They may not always get all the detail etc but normally the sets are very accurate.

10 years ago nathan fillon as drake and tom hanks as sully yes yes

i think your limiting factor in this purchase would be your productivity and not your gaming. i cant speak for poser or daz studio since ive never heard of them before your post, but 3d modelling can be pretty intensive. photoshop isnt great either but that depends on the size of image you are working with.

unfortunately im not too familiar with the laptop space to give you any definite recommendations. but the software you list is definitely stuff that will do better with a faster PC. i could probably be of more help if you were after a desktop but ShortCircuit on youtube regularly post laptop reviews so might be worth checking out; https://www.youtube.com/c/ShortCircuit/videos

absolutely, i only ever go to the cinema for epic visual feats on the printworks IMAX screen (i have my favourite seats and im pretty sure they are slowly getting my assprint). this was definitely an epic visual feast.

    however

it's like the entire film, the visuals, the sound, the characters are all one big aesthetic thing behind a glass plate, it's an aesthetic scene that plays out before you, a scene that is admittedly beautiful but is hard to really engage with. it suffers a bit from Tenettus - booming soundtracks muffling speech. and the second half of the film doesnt have much by way of vast epic space stuff, it's all done on a smaller scale, due to the story itself, so the film ends up climaxing about half way through and then pulling you slowly to an underwhelming end. it's very definitively the first half of a story. it doesnt function at all as a standalone piece, it NEEDS dune 2 which isnt confirmed.

and secondly the story itself is a little problematic. theyve been trying to make a film of Dune for so long that perhaps they didnt realise that in the current social climate, there are definitely things that people COULD pick on in this movie. it's pretty much textbook "white saviour" and the use of Islamic terminology throughout has the potential to offend people. Herbert himself said he somewhat based the Fremen on what he imagined Islam could evolve into in 8000 years time.

personally im definitely all in for the sequel but i am slightly worried for the film.

personally i like holland the best, he fits the role better than the prior incumbents

73699A97-597C-4A9F-8304-632B1D0B437E.jpeg Yeah I think it’s people making idle speculation just because the way they shot the trailer and how mundane the Riddler looks. It almost reminds me of Terminator Salvation where the John Connor figure head was utterly covered in cloth on one figure, then had goggles, a helmet and a chinstrap on the other. I am sure it’s the Riddler, just a more grounded version who doesn’t want to get rained on so dresses appropriately

I opened the jam and look who showed up.

Initial impressions are pretty good, seems well made, bags of character. Not being able to pull limbs off a la kup is a massive oversight, but I like him.

Booked in for Sunday evening, cannot wait!

I didn't think some of the Iron Man 3 sets were that close to the film... (but that is a while ago).

No idea what to do about Luna Park

I never received my Rachet/Centurion/Bluesteak order - they agreed to issue a refund and I received an email saying a refund was issued from them but the money never appeared in my PayPal. I’ve been chasing them but only get an intermittent response and they’ve now gone quiet. And I’m beyond the 180 days for a PayPal dispute because it was a preorder from earlier in the year. So that’s 120 quid down the drain if they don’t respond to me…

That's frustrating that he's available for Pulse Premium members now.
I guess by whenever the time they release him to the normal public they will all be gone now!

There's only about 100 pulse premium members iirc so doubt it will sell out.

lol, still possibly 200 units of a limited release already sold, what 6 hrs earlier than they should have done?

I'm still holding out hope. Certainly will not be buying from scalpers if I can't get him from Pulse or ID.

    Don’t give up!

I was in the same position (though I did get everything apart from Ratchet), and I had the same with the screenshot ‘showing’ a refund but nothing on PayPal. I got all sorts of nonsense like they were going to phone PayPal up but eventually, eventually they did cough up.

Edit: I think the issue might be the timing, I don’t think refunds can be issued on PayPal transactions after a certain period of time and so it ends up just being a payment from them not linked to your original purchase. (And you get charged a transaction fee, the bastards.)

Looks to have now been removed from sale, so wonder if this was a glitch and people got lucky.
Be interesting if they cancel any of the earlier orders or not, especially given the concrete language of 9pm and 10pm listed everywhere.

No. But you might get a 'EU-driven, UK-adopted-it-anyway-despite-Brexit' related fee.

Seriously, it's been nearly 10 months and people still think the online VAT thing is something to do with Brexit? The EU delayed implementation until July, that's the only difference Brexit made.

We now sit along them and USA in requiring 'sales tax' to be charged at point of sale. If retailers don't comply, you either get your goods with a carrier admin fee, or you don't get your goods. Unless your package sails past unnoticed, just like the old days.

Seriously guys, nothing has really changed!
