More ridiculously oversized “Mohawks”? Stop trying to make this a thing. Is that supposed to be Knock Out?

I'm more interested if the guy behind him is Emirate Xaaron?

Also, what the hell is happening on Cover B of TF #39?

Looks like that's a hint at the upcoming Legacy Knock Out: his lower half looks a hell of a lot like a replaint of SS Jazz.

The colouring of the arms (black shoulders/biceps/hands, coloured forearms) matches as well.
Obviously the chest has been slimmed as artistic liberty, but it would give us a look at how the front bumper (where jazz's lights & grille are) would be retooled.

If the hood/front bumper on the actual toy is retooled, then it does in fact resemble the front grille of his car mode in Prime.

@Apollux did confirm he's a retool of Jazz when someone showed him a pic - and now I ping him to ask the question: From what you've been able to see of knockout, does his head and/or chest look like the one in the cover pic a few posts above?

No not really, he looks a lot more 'real world', definitely nowhere near that cartoony.

I'll be honest he's definitely more on the Bulkhead side of accuracy to the source than Prime Arcee.

I think we all understand that the toy will not follow Josh's caricatured style. Just wondering if the toy also has the chest retool suggested by the art, as well as the new head sculpt.

Yeah the head is definitely going to be more accurate to the original Prime model than how it's shown here.

But the fact that "Prime Knockout" is going to be a retool of Jazz with just a new head and chest, with a supposed pretty accurate Prime Arcee coming as well, is really going to make this place entertaining.

This silly ass Mohawk reminds me of what they did to Sideswipe in that otherwise forgetable RID cartoon. I hope it's not a. permanent look that the Legacy figure will be going for.

I can't believe I am seeing Xaaron on a cover.
I am hyped and hope he wasn't just casually drawn because he appears in the comics for a second.

pretty disappointing if this means the only difference for legacy knockout's robot mode is his head

I'll take a Jazz retool over the original Prime figure. TFP Knockout was one of the very rare missteps in the otherwise stellar/solid TFP line.
