On the other hand I do like the concept of Jackie being a repair van, the colors are a bit drab but as long as he has familiar design elements I'm willing to be forgiving.  

 

Ok I'm really surprised that Wheeljack is a Volkswagen van. I can't wait to see how that's gonna play out.

 

if there's one thing they'll keep intact in changing a blue helicopter/truck decepticon into a black tow truck unicronian, it's that he'll combine... right.

 

I wasn't expecting Wheeljack to be the Volkswagen of the group, this should be interesting. I am also looking forward to Battletrap.

 

Yo if scourge and battle trap keep combining and separate from each other to distract Optimus and beat the sh*it out of prime, that will be awesome

I would have preferred Wheeljack to be the tow truck, but I'm intrigued about the van alt mode.

Wheeljack huh? Okay, why not? Since his classic alt was one very specific race car, something that could be on a domestic road makes sense. Being a Voltswagon bus is a cute nod to the often ignored fact he's supposed to be pretty old.

Battletrap? fine; Terrorcons are a new thing so this iteration of him can be different.

Again as long has he's G1 WJ with the face, ears and back fins I'm game for him being a TV repair van.

 

I know everybody loves Lancia Jackie, but tbh I think a Kombi van fits his personality so much better. Never made sense to me that a scientist of all people would pick not only a flashy sports car mode, but also a flashy sports car mode that resembles a single unique racecar in Italy, a thousand miles and a whole continent from where he was actually based.

Looking forward to his toy.

 

Battletrap? So I guess the rumors of the tow truck being a Duocon were true, to an extent.

 

Would be cool if it's like a shot where you see the two ram into each other and instead of what you would expect (them blowing up) you see them combine.

 

Imagine if Battletrap eventually becomes the main antagonist of the film. He kills Scourge and fuses parts of Scourge's corpse onto him and becomes the "new Terrorcon leader" while Nightbird joins the Decepticons.

 

Autobots : Optimus , Bumblebee ,Mirage ,Arcee and Wheeljack

Maximals : Primal , Araizor, Rhinox and Cheetor

Terrocons : Scourge , Nigthbird and Battletrap

All The crew confirmed Just miss Predacons ( and maybe One ir two more Terrocon ? )

As a fan of the duocons i don\'t mind this name change. If anything (even if it doesn\'t happen) it gets me excited for the possibility that scourge and him can combine as it would make for a great scene especially after scourge gets defeated by prime so they have to use that move and the reason why they haven\'t is that unlike other combiners it\'s an unstable connection. As for wheeljack being a van, while not my favorite idea I will be more open-minded and I hope he does change alt modes in either the final act or the end scene like some of you have been saying.
