Wasnt there a pulse app but all you could do with it was add the figures you had in a digital collection
The app was mentioned in the FAQ about a week ago actually, it didn't let you open those tabs, though I wasn't bothered creating a news article for it given the internet said there was already a Pulse app so I thought it referred to that.
Does it display orders any better then the site? I hate that there isn't an option to display preorders by estimated release date.
A new app right before a fan convention that will test the site's capacity to its limits! What could possibly go wrong?
Got to say the app is pretty well done, especially the HasLab section. Shows you the percentage of the goal met and what was the last tier unlocked from the list view for quick updates.
Well if you can’t access the Pulse website in your country what made you think the app would be any different?
I don't know how it'll do under pressure, but it's a very well-made and good-looking app. There's legitimate sophistication to it. That's what surprises me about it. Their website is so bland and meh, as-is their overall service to some degree, but they made one heck of an app. I've seen far worse looking, feeling, and operating apps than this one. Perhaps they're getting ready to really take this part of their business seriously and we'll finally get the Pulse we've been wanting all along.
Just downloaded it and identified a snafu that I don't get when I use the site. When I went to my orders page, even preorders that haven't shipped have tracking #s from items that indeed have shipped.
I noticed the same thing. Another issue I had was that the further back in orders I scrolled the app failed to refresh and eventually went blank showing no orders. Also still has the same problem as the website for orders where you need to click on an order to see what it is and when it is supposed to ship. There really needs to be a list view of ordered items showing what they are and an expected ship date. It’s very tedious clicking each order to see what it is.
Looks like we have another case of "America is the best and there are no other countries in the world" UK has access to pulse and the app is not available for us either
Or another case of common sense because it took Hasbro years to get the Pulse site up in the UK so it's understandable that they can't get the app up there just yet.
Kind of the point isn't it? You won't know the actual strength of your internet infrastructure until you stress test it. My bro recounted a story how a custom knife maker was preparing for a planned drop of knives. Beefed up his server infrastructure for the incoming tide. But the traffic he got was more powerful than even his estimates suggested. So now he's got even better infrastructure and as far as I heard he's had more painless drops. No better way to test the app than with Pulse Con.
I get your point, but they should have had it available and stress-tested it during a few "lesser" events over a couple of months before the big one. Like a Transformers Tuesday or something. With something like a number of limited convention exclusives presented over just 2 days, they're just asking to be overloaded with complaints this way.
