That was very strange, I thought it was going to tease a new Pokémon. I’m also watching off a phone so they could have and I just can’t tell.

 

this is the weirdest "Who's That Pokemon?!" i've ever seen.

 

Nope just described it.

Its canid and looks like, but is not, Growlithe and Vulpix.

It has fluffy white fur on its head and around its neck, so it isn't Hisuian Growlithe

It has a red tail

Yellow eyes

I like how this game is just going hard into Pokemon are actually terrifying and will maul the shit out of you.

 

I was expecting something upbeat when I woke up to a video teasing a Pokémon game. Ended up saying out loud "Why is this so creepy?" Will say that's the most expectation subverting piece of found footage horror I've watched this October. Not sure if I'm feeling it.

A theory I really like is the possibility of the beatmon Warwolf line making a comeback as a regional variant for an existing Pokemon.

But the bottom left looks like an outstretched arm and the bottom right looks like its a Zoroark facing the camera.

I saw it was normal/ghost and immediately thought if that was an unused type. It is, so that’s cool.


I like the Zorua look but not the Zoroark. It looks like it had a white Flood infecting it’s head.  

 

So some info on Zorua and Zoroark

-The species were actually formed when packs of Zoroark left their region after being shunned and chased out due to their illusions. Unable to survive in the harsh climates, they were reborn as ghost types. So them being weaker to dark makes sense cause they literally died.

-Both forms emit illusions via the tendrils of their fur, both use illusions of their target's fears to draw power.

-They dislike humans, are very wary, feed off of terror and Zoroark is extremely distrusting of strangers and overprotective of what it considers family.
