I don't mind the humans but from what we've seen filming outside the cars will be a lot more present which is great. Even as cars seeing them interact with things is much more enjoyable.

 

At first I was like "so they made him a French dude who doesn't like being French and has time dilation guns? Huh, okay."

Glad you liked him minus design (which I think looks could great as a genric Cybertronian/autotrooper) I did not care for him as someone who is a hot rod fan/likes HR. The french accent was the worst part for me.

I think so as well especially since we only have 2 main humans and only 4-ish humans confirmed for the movie that is not extra's and 2 are supporting characters Noah's mom and that young kid forgot his name.

 

So I've been thinking about the design of Wheeljack's alt mode and why they went with a brown and white color scheme for the van and I had a neat idea for what he might look like in robot mode that would account for so much brown. Obviously replace the leather with an approximation constructed from the brown parts of the VW van:

I think it could be something like this and would play into him being an inventor as well as the whole TV repair van thing. Of course, they could show concept art of him this weekend and render all of this moot.... regardless, thoughts?

Edit: On a side note, my wife thinks this picture of Wheeljack is adorable and now she wants to make little clothes for all of my Transformers.

Cool concept and I can see him looking like this when we first see him at Autobot base working on something and if his design is different he takes these off when it time to go.

I had a fun conversation with a freind that let's say bumblebee dies and then gets revived and rebuilt to his bay look if it's prequel which is not. Than everyone must die for them to look like there bay look because I don't believe that evolution is the answer for them to look like that.

 

The pose is the same, so the new concept art is basically a heavily edited old one.

They did say that the Design was based on TLK Primal, so it's probably Real.
