When it has the word "paint" in front of it yes. By definition, the stand alone term "deco" is short for "Art Deco" which is in reference to an object's overall art style including physical structure

    This.

They should have called this just Bulkhead and said that he was a G1 version of the character. I think many people would have been far more okay with that.

It would be like taking the Siege Barricade and saying "Well, he's Movie Barricade! Because he came from the movie!"

I like them. Skids is not really anything special.

I also get high vibes of AOE/TLK Hound when I look at this "Bulkhead", minus the guns (yeah, that gun he comes with is kinda lame).

Well...Something for those who really like blocky bots...I guess.

Skids look alright, but still weirdly aesthetically squared off in design, especially in vehicle-mode. It's like an early PS1 car model.

What is considered the best Bulkhead available currently? I’m interested in maybe picking that up.

No need to be a condescending douche. Not cool. Not cool at all. This is a discussion board. If you have a problem with people "not liking", ignore or don't be on a discussion board.

That's IDW Bulkhead who had (barely) a cameo in the comics.

Says it right in the press release too: "Prime Universe Bulkhead." This is TFP Bulkhead with an incorrect vehicle mode. The design is flat out wrong.

Once again, Hasbro caters to the G1 and Movie crews, only. The rest of the fandom gets breadcrumbs. At least with the BW figures, the robot modes are pretty darn accurate, and the beast modes are meant to be biologically accurate. I don't know what they were thinking with Bulkhead, and now I'm nervous for the rest of the Prime designs.

How this will go, to the people who are raging, this will end up looking better in person people will buy them and move on to the next thing. The normal cycle. These will sell just fine

G1 Bulkhead looks good, but I hope Prime's Knockout, Soundwave, and Arcee looks like their respective shows counterparts.

Well, they're currently pushing the Prime line but this is clearly taking more cues from Animated. They probably wanted to do the latter but they wanted him to fit into the former for marketing purposes.

You better expect the same when they retool it into Beast Hunters Optimus and call him "Prime" Optimus instead of releasing the first Prime Optimus.

For a moment I thought these were Core Class figures. I am not entirely disappointed but these do feel somewhat underwhelming. Skids is a good attempt to modernize his Generation 1 design but that is Bulkhead in name only.

Yeah not really feeling either if these. Skids looks extremely awkward proportionally and Bulkhead makes me sad but not surprised. Not gonna pick up either of these, but here's hoping the other figures look better

Bulkhead is movieverse Hound. I actually kinda like it, it\'s NOT the Bulkhead they claim it is but... outside that box it absolutely is a G1 Bulky.
Hopefully Arcee and Soundwave are good.

Skidz I swear is a retool of the JP Jeep guy...

I feel maybe these clear weapons will lead to a something, a big combined weapon…. Idk man just a hunch.

I can’t wait to see the field day 4p will have with making upgrades for skids lol, I can see someone making a t30 gun style thing for him already

Soundwave is looking more and more to just be a Package Refresh. Also, JTPrime said that some listings showed it as a Package Refresh (PR) and others claimed it was Prime.

Honestly, I think it's the whole screen accuracy/mini-MP nonsense that's been getting thrown around ever since WFC started. I think that's tempered a lot of people's expectations despite that it's not an entirely accurate statement.

    Simplicity can be deceptive.

Let's take Animated Leader Megatron, who basically performs magic with his incredibly, deceptively simple transformation, which almost entirely is sold through his legs. Namely, the leg covers simply flip 180 degrees and lock into his torso. Simple in concept...but you have to look at how this actually happens. It's a double hinge lever mounted on a hidden rotation joint that all gets engaged simply to perform this step. A lot of engineering had to go into stuff most people with the figure wouldn't even realize, let alone see.

What I find annoying is that they call this Prime Bulkhead. As if Animated Bulkhead, the reason Prime Bulkhead even exists in the first place, does not himself exist or is a far better character since Ani. Bulk has character development, while Prime Bulkhead's biggest contribution to anything was simply not dying when he should have.
