As someone with a complete collection of original Prime toys and zero interest in any updates to them that aren't Masterpiece, I'm very excited for the Prime toys in this line! I was planning on skipping them, but if they're all G1-fied like Bulkhead is then I'll probably buy them all. The original Prime toys hold up incredibly well IMO, and aren't in need of Generations-style updates. Reinterpretations of the characters, like how they did Bulkhead here, is totally the right way to go I think.

 

Lukewarm on skids… I’m not sure what it is but it feels off. Bulkhead looks like a solid g1 addition.

 

Bulkhead is fine if you treat it as a G1 universe Bulkhead and keep it disconnected from the Prime character.

 

Hollow legs aside I like this Skids, weird Energon weapon and all. Bulkhead is just so... square. It's such a weird choice given how round he normally looks.

Maybe I'm biased, but I LOVE the fact that we're finally getting a G1 styled Bulkhead!! If this is how they're doing Legacy, then I'm even more excited! This will fit in so well with my collection

Also, I'm calling it now, these transparent weapons are gonna be part of some line-wide gimmick, and the Energon Monsters will be a part of it

 

I mean I aint that mad it doesnt look like TFP Bulk as much as it just looks so uninspired in terms of engineering/design.

Skids looks ok, but the shins look out of place with the rest of the design. Not really liking the complete square of a chest Bulkhead has too. I didn't expect a ball on legs like the original but this is too blocky.

I am expecting Laser Prime to be G1 colored, in which case I’d hope for a G2-colored redeco in the same vein as Titans Return Prime’s Chaos on Velocitron redeco.

About the Energon weapons, I really love they're the new angle of this Trilogy.

The rise of Third Party accessories have made the clear weapon gimmick from Energon more relevant now than how it originally was back then. Is great to have a quality alternative compared to the usual 3D printed stuff.

The more I look at Bulkhead, the more he's growing on me. Not certain if I'll be getting him or not.

 

Skids could have had slightly more City-esque proportions but still like it much better than the last one.
