I haven't been following the legends version as closely. Have they announced when the next legends figure will be released? If it ends up looking good, might be tempted to get both.

 

Anyone else feel that the thigh lengths are gonna look short? Tantrum and Headstrong\'s heads in leg mode are so close to the abdomen.

I am absolutely loving this set. The designs get me more excited to complete the set with each reveal. Sure, they are not G1 design, but I will have them as a more movie inspired display. I imagine these to be transformer hunters, co-designed by humans and a bounty hunter like Lockdown, or a Doubledealer. The humans want the feuding autobots and decepticons off earth, and Doubledealer offers to create a group of hunters to track down and annihilate all transformers. But he also has an alternate motive.....
This set has to be finished ASAP please. Keep up the great designs Cang toys!!!!

 

The gorilla looks awesome!
And the bot mode of lion looks incredible as well (even though I do still wish they change the lion face a bit).
I hesitated for a long time before buying the first three just last month, absolutely happy with the sculpt and quality.
With gorilla being stunning and lion being good looking overall, I think they shouldn't have any problem nailing the rhino.
As for my doubts of combiner mode, let's see what the test shot can deliver in a few weeks, before express any concern.

Same. I was (despite my tag) on the fence about tje gorilla because I had little interest in combining them. But that prototype just made it a "Hell, yes."

So obvious that somebody had to point it out before you noticed... 

 

Some mobile suits and mobile armors from Gundam have that feature, it has nothing to do with a penis.

I believe Predaking's thighs are more complex than that, I think it. Maybe Thorgorilla's calves and arms forms Predaking's thighs, judging by the combine mode pics released a while ago.

I've been deep in the Gundam scene for a longer time than Transformers, and I can't recall any suits having something as similar to it as this. Can you list some mobile suits that you're thinking of as examples when you say that? I don't think it'd change the fact that it still looks like one to me, but at least it'll come off as "not abnormal".

 

The only ones that come to mind are the Hi-Nu Gundam Vrabe (and it's Crimson Comet variant) model. It has a very unique front hip skirt. I'm also told Gundam Breaker Nightingale has a hilariously huge front center hip skirt piece that is supposed to help "stability", given his absolutely massive overall size.

 

And I spy another elephant with tusks! Double Elephant!!




Looking very good like the bull does. Also getting it as an individual figure.

But this shows my main beef with the set: the more rounded shapes clash with the angular shapes of the cat, bird and lion. The predators have one aesthetic and the grass eaters another.

 

Out of memory, The ReZel, and then the whole lot of Advance of Zeta MSs have massive centerpieces

Really dig the look of Razorclaw like this, the contrast makes his thin eyes look much, much better. Also, now seeing him in Primal colors makes it so much clearer just how much Thorilla really doesn't look like Primal anymore to me.
