Out of all the characters, Scourge, Bumblebee, Nightbird, and Mirage are the ones I'm really curious to know what they're going to look like. And if the Volkswagen van really is Wheeljack, him too.

I can already get an idea of what Optimus will look like, as I mostly expect him to have the same design he had in Bumblebee, albeit tweaked a little.

I'm going to guess that Nightbird's face will (maybe) be similar to Shatter's, since she was stated to be an inspiration for Shatter's design. As for the rest of her body, not sure.

I've read that Mirage will look similar to his G1 appearance, so until I actually see his robot mode, I'm expecting him to look like G1 robot mode with the design characteristics seen with the cast in Bumblebee, except with all the Formula 1 parts replaced with ones from the Porsche.

Sounds to me like with Scourge, he's going to be G1 and RID2001 rolled into one, so I almost expect him to have RID2001's body with G1's head. I will make the guess that the grille of his truck mode with all the stolen insignias will be on his torso.

The reason I mention Bumblebee, is I'm curious to know how all the offroad parts will affect his robot mode. Much like Optimus, I expect him to have his design seen at the very end of Bumblebee.

 

Did anyone notice before that Anthony Ramos is supposed to be at the panel? (from the most recent TFW news post)

 

It seems that Primal’s eyes changed in the same way Optimus Prime’s did in the Bumblebee movie

from the more circular eyes that resemble pupils


to the more visor-like eyes that fill out the entire socket (while the pupils still remain inside)

I remember being skeptical about tlk primal having a robot mode (because of the prime like head in the gorilla mode)

 

That another thing that been said to have changed from the concept art he doesn’t look like Prime in the face in gorilla mode and I feel/hope Hasbro (since they have a bigger say now) and Steven being a fan of TF’s and BW’s will have them have their robot modes.

 

At the very least show us mirage's robot design to end the debate once and for all. Or maybe it's gonna add more fuel to the fire, if the design doesn't resemble his g1 counterpart  

 

At first I was shocked that it finished already, but I forgot they still did a bunch of stuff in that massive warehouse that obviously couldn’t be reported on. Huh.

 

By finished does it mean the shooting as a whole or just in Peru?

 

I'm more confident than ever that this film won't be delayed. Bring on June 24th.

I do really want to see his robot mode most of all aside form Scourge.

That way I can either smile in victory or bask in the chaos to come.

 

Like I said before today I highly doubt it with how great films have been doing. Now if Shang Chi bombed and we didn’t have the reaction we had when it did so we’ll opening weekend (with Venom 2 being pushed up 2 weeks to come out eariler) I think it would have been delayed.

 

Heh, I’m honestly feeling the same way cause we’re either gonna get a pretty damn good Wheeljack in a unique alt mode or Que 2: Electric Boogaloo

 

I doubt he’ll look like Que or too weird since again they’re going G1 in robot mode for Prime, Arcee and Nightbird even Scourge (face wise)

Scourge and Wheeljack are probably the ones I want to see concept art of (minus Maximals) definitely WJ at the least.

Seriously tho, the on-set images we've been getting are awesome. I don't remember this being the case during bumblebee's shooting. It was so barren back then until a trailer came out lol.

 

So filming is wrapped it's possible that December can be the first teaser trailer knowing that steven has posted saying filming wrapped. On to post production

 

I honestly wouldn't mind them incorporating some inspiration from DOTM Wheeljack/Que, provided they could make him not look creepy. Easily one of the worst designs in the series, but he was actually an okay live-action take on the character. He filled the same role as his G1 self (which is more than you an say about a lot of Bay's characters), and the crazy scientist gimmick was fun (albeit dialed up to the extreme). The fiber-optic hair was actually kind of a cool way to bring his glowing "ears" to live-action. Maybe merging that with his G1 faceplate would be cool.
